I had a reader or two send me comments or messages that they would not count based on what a Club Carlson supervisor had told him, so I did include a warning that he had been told that, but there are far more positive reports than negative. I have a BRG reservation myself and am not at all worried about it counting.

Strange... just tried booking a local Radission. It shows availability. But, when I try to book it, the website keeps giving me an error message (indicates problem with website). No issues on any of the other hotels listed. I called the hotel directly and booked it through them and gave my Club Carlson number.

Two questions:
- I could not see anywhere on the T&C for the promo that it had to be booked on the website. I assume that it will work if I call the 800# or book directly with the hotel?

- If I book directly through the hotel, and gave them my Club Carlson #, should I not be able to see the reservation online under my account?

I booked a hotel on the Park Inn website with no errors a week ago and it doesn't show on the Club Carlson site. It looks to be normal behaviour right now.

I had this problem a week ago. I am going to call Club Carlson to be sure I get the 2,000 points I would have received for booking online.

When looking for a BRG, be sure to look at rooms other than the cheapest ones. For one of my stays, I couldn't find a lower price anywhere on the cheapest room, but the Executive room was cheaper on Expedia, and with the BRG beating the price by 25%, it will make it cheaper than the standard room. It's a refundable room, so I booked it and submitted the BRG claim and will report back with results.

I just stayed at the Abu Dhabi Radisson and have to say it really was a great stay. The hotel was great and for the price, and the offer I really can't complain.

I'll be back.

I stayed in a BRG room at a Country Inn last Tuesday and the BNG points just posted today. Looks like it works out.

I friendly request/reminder to everyone that is posting in this thread about their stays and points. PLEASE take the time to post a review of the properties you stay at in the Radisson Club Carlson forum.

The forum is getting busier with all these new promos and it would be nice to have a larger pool of property reviews like the other hotel forums on FT.

This is what I was also told when I called them up. BTW, got the 50k points for a stay at Radisson Toronto East last week, and will be off to the Country Inns in St. Charles, IL next week.

My BRG stay has posted - total of 55,671 points for a $60 stay.

I booked a stay at the Radisson San Jose Airport and did not get any points/BNG bonus. The reservation isn't even showing up on my Club Carlson account as a "previous stay". I asked the front desk at check in and check out to double check that my Club Carlson number had been inputted.

Emailed Carlson twice and didn't get any replies. Called them today and got redirected 3 times before my lunch break was over. Any suggestions on how I should pursue this issue? :mad::mad:

My Radisson SFO stay from 5/25 posted this afternoon, not there this morning, woo hoo.

FWIW, a rep of Club Carlson confirmed that a Travelzoo rate booked through the Radisson website would result in points and the 50k bonus. There's a good rate at the Radisson Lexington in NYC that I might use in June

Points from a 5/26 stay posted yesterday. I'm becoming more impressed with Radisson by the day.

Points from a stay at the Country Inn in St. Paul on 5/26 posted this morning. Points for the revenue stay and the 44k bonus points, too! Next up - Radisson Mall of America this weekend for 50k points. Will have 100k points for a few nights at a Blu soon.

I stayed at the Radisson downtown Minneapolis on 12/24 to get 50k points for the last promo. I didn't personally checkout the next morning, just left the hotel. Points posted correctly.

But...I did check out personally for my Country Inn stay this week exactly 1 minute after checking in just to make sure.

Can anyone confirm that a "Radisson Suites Hotel" is a Radisson for the purposes of the promotion? Some say suites, and some do not. For example, Radisson Suites Hotel Buena Park. Thanks!

I'm in the Santa Barbara area, and probably going to get my Radisson stay somewhere near Anaheim and get to an Angels game. The 30% off promotion looked pretty good, but they're playing the Dodgers 6/22-6/24 so the ticket prices on Stubhub are quite a bit higher. I may end up just going to the game on 6/19. Trying to decide between the various hotels there. Ontario Airport is the cheapest, but pretty far. Buena Park is a lot closer, $25 more.

Then there's also Whittier, Covina, Newport Beach. Tough decisions. :)

I'm booking a couple of nights for my parents in Dallas(Park Inn) and in Atlanta(Country Inn).

I booked it under my fathers name. So the confirmation email shows:

Reservation For: "Dad's full name"

It was a prepaid reservation

Have anyone done this before? Will he have any issues checking in? and will I have any issues getting the bonus points?

I posted this question a while back. I was worried that I would be that I would be the only one to stay at a non participating hotel. I wrote an email to CC and their speedy service finally wrote me back:

Dear Mr. rdaven,

Thank you for taking the time to write.

We appreciate your interest in our newest promotions.

We can confirm that all hotels are participating in some capacity. We
mean, that all Radisson and Radisson Blu hotels qualify for the Radisson
Big Night Giveaway, however, a stay in a Country Inn & Suites will not
qualify for this promotion.

Likewise, all Country Inn & Suites are eligible for the So Go! promotion
which is currently running, but only this brand will qualify for So Go!.
We are also running a promotion for the Park Inn, called One plus One,
however, stays at the Park Plaza will not qualify for the One plus One
promotion. Because of the different brand promotions, we were simply
attempting to keep the conditions as clear as possible.
