If it earns points then it should qualify for the promotion.

Club Carlson just sent me an email to confirm my Park Inn 1+1 promotion. So I don't think they will take the points back now and I really hope they give me another bonus when I actually stay at the hotel :D

Basically, I got the points on May 31st and my stay will be on Jun 14

The hotel is Park Inn by Radisson Hotel and Water Park Albuquerque NM
I detailed it in this post. I think it might be a loophole or error from their part. If someone is willing to test it and report the results
I used Cash and Point option

All 3 promotion points posted.

Have fun for a road trip in Memory day weekend (Fresno *1, Los Angeles *2).

This is clearly a lame attempt to drive traffic to your blog...and the fact the posting says the stay was for May 27-May 28 seriously questions your claim (it's not hard to make a reservation take a screenshot and then cancel it). I hope I'm wrong but there's still better ways to get traffic!

I don't think there is a good way to show that I never set foot in Albuquerque or even New Mexico. If this is false information, I could have done better in Houston or Dallas which are close to me then in New Mexico (12 hours away from Austin)
I live in Austin and do my 9-5 jobs and been in the office since then. As I said there was an error with their IT or something like that therefore they might think I stayed there on that day.
I can even show you my flight on Southwest to Albuquerque from Jun 14 to 17 if you wish on PM
I will delete my second post since you think that it is to drive traffic to my blog
Thanks

Make sure you click "View all rates" on the right side, this will show you refundable rates. Some of those rates have restrictions (AAA members) that you might not qualify for. Beware.

Also check this thread:

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/hotel...ted-dates.html

The 30% off rate is refundable.

If you book a advance pay non refundable rate you won't get your money back. They give you 20% off and you take the risk. You can Resv. a refundable room for a higher price.

Mommy Points Jun 7, 2012 2:14 pm

Not that this is new information at this point, but just wanted to share another example where I did not check-out in person and the points posted just fine. Gotta love all these easy points!

Why not, as long as it's still within the time frame of the promotion and your Club Carlson number is on the reservation?

emptiness Jun 10, 2012 6:34 pm

yes! my bad! Just 1 question, I checked my email for country inn 44k sign up offer and I found it nowhere in my inbox or junk email or in deleted section.
I see the confirmation email for Radisson & Park Inn sign up only.
I checked the Country inn offer site SOGOCOUNTRY by entering my CC number and it says "you are already registered" I don't know of this can mean I registered for the other 2 or I actually did signed up for this country inn 44k too?

We changed the reservation date online without problem. My wife canceled first and than rebooked for a different date for her deal.

I think I saw someone report that the country inns promotion reached the threshold for the 44k points a while back. If I recollect correctly that would mean that you would only get 15K C points for your stay.

asandrs Jun 11, 2012 11:05 am

not being .....y here but does any one think this should all be move to the Radisson forum ? - I've had enough of people asking the same questions over and over again in both forums - at least then I would only have to read their duplicated questions in only one place Just my 0.02.

MileTex Jun 11, 2012 3:07 pm

The 44k point registration for a Park Inn stay is now closed as well. :(

I think you are saying you can't remember if you sign up or not for Country Inn? Well, you must have or the system would have let you register for the lesser bonus, 15,000 points. So you are good to go!

Does anyone know how stringently the in person check in requirements are being enforced? If I make a reservation and don't show, I still get charged. Would I also get the points?

They usually will charge you and you won't get points.

livestrongforever Jun 12, 2012 1:27 pm

hey guys,

Silly question.

I will be staying at Raddision inn on July 13, checking out July 14th then
I will be staying at Country Inn on July 14th (checking out July 15th)
Will I get credit for the Country Inn stay?

Don't see why not, they're different hotels. I just did the same thing, stayed at a Park Inn 6/10, Country Inn 6/11. Points haven't posted yet, as it hasn't been long enough, but they should.

chemist661 Jun 12, 2012 1:56 pm

We have a couple of trips coming up. One in a couple of weeks to ABQ and one in early July to SLC. (using BA Avios short haul awards from LAX on American Eagle).

For the ABQ trip, we will stay the first night at Country Inn by the airport (arriving in evening) and the other 2 nights (one night in wife's name, the other night in my name) at Park Inn ABQ. We haven't been to ABQ and it is my birthday.

For the SLC trip, we will be staying at the Radisson DT. (one night in wife's name, the other in my name). I already had one night at Country Inn last week so after those trips, we will complete the promos for the both of us.

The ABQ & SLC stays are relatively inexpensive and we haven't been to those places. I was able to reprice the Park Inn stays with 30% off promos! (I did pass through SLC back in 1996 by car and plus many airport transfers when flying DL in the 1990's but those do NOT count as visits ;)).

We plan to use the points for expensive European stays and/or low cost (9K) stays in the USA.

NICE PROMO!! Too bad I missed it last year!

Oh... yeah. Checking out on the 15th you should be fine.

Guest must check in for the Qualifying Stay on or after May 15, 2012 and check out must be completed no later than July 15, 2012

Anyone confirm that you don't have to physically check out, only in? I did radisson and country but I actually checked out to be on the safe side. Gonna be passing through a cheap park inn city soon and I'd like to check in and get outta there. I don't see how it would make a difference if you physically checked out, but just want some confirmation

Also-does anyone have any experience with how long points transfers between accounts take and what the minimum transfer amounts are?

I know of a Park Inn hotel that will do this for you because they input points manually. PM me if interested. (I'm actually doing it tonight, so you may want to wait a week to confirm that points and stay credit will indeed post.)

Confirmed. I've checked in and then left the city right after. Bonus points have been credited for all 6 stays I've done for myself and family.

Points just posted for the stay I did for my Dad on Sunday night. He just called to add my name to the res and say that I'd be checking in first. I didn't check out at the front desk; I just left after having my complimentary breakfast.

Just got my points for my stays in ABQ. One night at the Park Inn, one night at the Country Inn and Suites. Total of 95,998 points after online booking bonus, points per dollar, silver bonus points. Not bad. Got a night at Radisson Buena Park coming up next week.

CodeAdam10 Jun 14, 2012 11:41 pm

I'm planning on doing a Radisson/Park Inn/Country Inn spree in one day. Anyone has an idea if checking in on the same date at (3) different properties will cause any issue with receiving the bonus points? :D

Nice, I'm doing the same ABQ hotels and going to the Newport Radisson.

In southern California the Ontario Country Inn & Suites has a cheap night June 24-25, and the Ontario Radisson has July 6-7 via the 30% off.

After TCB I'll be ai for $131 for the two.

If they did,
they would be unwise to discuss it here.
