The link is to an intermediate page for some random blogger.

Unfortunately, the page is NOT live, it simply has a counter on it telling us it will be live in 8 days.

There is another thread about this already.

Main page is live now but it's just a countdown timer until may 15. *yawn*

Gosh I hate these bloggers. Thankfully there are 100,000 slots for this one.

With a maximum of one award night per account, it was pretty easy to register for this one. People were reporting success several days after registration started.

ayodeji13 May 7, 2012 1:43 pm

yup, and you can get your fam/friends to get in on it and then xfer their points to you if u so choose

I don't think bloggers are to blame for anything here. Those registrations were available for quite a while last time after they were first offered. With 100,000 slots, I'm not even going to stay up until midnight this time. What's the consensus on the value of Radisson (Club Carlson) points? I don't know if I'll be anywhere that has one during that window, and it's obvious that this time the account holder has to be physically present at check-in and check-out. I'm wondering if it's worth planning a special trip or not (I don't expect an answer to the question regarding my own options, just an idea how the pros rate these points).

I am certainly no pro, but I did just book 5 nights at the Radisson resort in Aruba for 250k CC points for second week in January. Rack rate was $575+

Here's a good article on the value of Carlson Gold Points and high-value redemptions.

http://www.milemonster.com/2012/02/0...-for-only-356/

Also they just confirmed you can participate in 3 separate promos.

We planned our summer vacation specifically around last years promo. Staying in Amsterdam, Berlin, and Paris. These hotels would have cost well over $3600. With the Big Night Giveaway promo we received over 400k points for just over $360. Don't let anyone fool you...this promo is huge...take advantage of it and go spend a week in Europe.

I second this. I'm spending a week in Prague in August with 90,000 points from last years promo. So happy to see it back again this year!

if anybody has an upcoming stay at a park inn anywhere, i'd gladly pay $50 toward it if you book it from my account. i know most people would value having the points for themselves more than that, but if you have two upcoming stays or would rather have the $50, message me.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this promo (just like the last time) is only valid for a stay at a Radisson, not just any Carlson property...

Good stuff. I see that it definitely can be worth it if you do it right. And I do have the two other brands within reasonable distance. Count me in!

Club Carlson has confirmed on their Facebook that we can triple dip, i.e. earn points on all three promos. More info in other thread.

This year, there are apparently separate promos for Radisson (50k), Country Inn(44k), and Park Inn(44k).

Thanks for the correction! I'm happy I was wrong in this case. I'm going to try to do at least two of them, if not all three.

Park Inn will be the hardest since they only have less than 10 properties in the US.

Albuquerque, NM
Dallas, TX
Fresno, CA
Houston, TX
Mechanicsburg, PA
Sault Saint Marie, MI
Sharon,PA
Toledo, OH
Tulsa, OK

rdaven2003 May 9, 2012 7:01 am

I am confused about the timing of this offer. I live in SEA and usually the timing of these deals is to eastern time. What I see on the site is it is clicking off until midnight SEA time? Does anyone from the east see differently?
Also does anyone have a link to the Park Inn site? I have the other 2.

There is a Park Inn near the airport in Montreal, YUL. May be a little easier for some of us in the northeast than the others there.

wcj May 9, 2012 7:21 am

You may wish to consider a trip to Toledo, OH. You can do a park inn for $96, country inn for $84 on June 4th. You'll probably fly in and out of DTW and there are a couple of Radissons within an hour drive of here.

My entire family lives here and perhaps there is a way to assist a few others by rotation.

Oooh good call. Maybe time for a weekend in Montreal with Avios points.

Indeed, I'm debating the drive up (about 5 hours each way, but the added bonus of spending a weekend in Montreal).

It's pretty stupid - but the clock is ticking down to midnight on whatever time your computer is set to.

leonidas May 9, 2012 9:25 am

Dude stop posting your own blog links all over the web. You keep spamming Slickdeals too.

Read the T&C

Registration Begins At 12:01 AM CDT ON May 15, 2012. Terms and conditions apply.

The site just redirects when registration opens to another site (which is not live). If you set your computers date/time ahead you'll get stuck in a redirect loop.

I apologize if this was answered before, but can family members check in for others?

spankytoes May 9, 2012 3:50 pm

If in fact we can triple dip, I’m set. I have a Radisson, Park Inn and Country Inn no more than 10 miles from my work in Dallas. Going to enlist my grandparents, who I status matched to Silver from Hyatt, to do the same over Memorial Day weekend.

18,000 points for booking online
18,000 points for normal earnings (Average of $80.00 per room per night x 25 points per dollar)
414,000 bonus points
4,500 bonus points for signing my grandfather up through e-rewards

Total Cost: $720.00
Total points earned: 454,500

Converting 200,000 points for 36,000 AA miles and using 250,000 points for 5 nights at The May Fair London. I'll use 44,000 existing AA miles to polish off 2 Award tickets to London this fall with the Mrs.

That will do.

milesmomma May 9, 2012 4:45 pm

Oh SPANKY!!!

You are so lucky SPANKY. Wish my small little town puts me only close by 30 minutes to 1 Radisson which I'm thankful for. Thanks though for detailing out for everyone how many points you can really earn. I need to detail this out to help my readers really see how huge this promotion can be if played right!

Sorry if this is a silly question (I am new to this promo and the Radisson group), can I ask what exactly is an eligible rate to participate in what sounds like a great promo?

I have a Radisson Blue and a Park Inn just minutes away, would it be wise to try and status match with Radisson beforehand?

From the UK, so it looks like a 4.30am rise on the Tues to be make sure I successfully register in time.

ThePointsCollector May 9, 2012 5:31 pm

Cool beans. Need hotel in Narita, Japan, so thats my Raddisson night (9000 JY), and other two are near by (DFW).

skywalk May 9, 2012 7:57 pm

I did not see the online booking bonus. Where is that found?? Anyone? Thanks. Sorry I found it.

As per the T&Cs, any rate that earns Gold Points will qualify for this bonus.

OK Maybe it is too early for my brain to get this. What time zone are they using to open the registration?
Plus any link I use to Park Inn does not work. Are there any working links out there?

Looks like I can take care of Park Inn here in Berlin for around 64 euros. Not bad....
