I know the F&F rate doesn't, but any experience with gov't?

Have an account with email confirmations, the other without. But when I try to reenter the info for the second, it says I'm already registered.

Now just need a good mechanism to search for the lowest rate near me between now and July 15...anything have a night-by-night calendar view?

The wife and I received the confirmation but did not get emails? Do you have to make the booking for the night when you receive the confirmation to get the email?

Yes same thing I got 1, but did not get the 2nd email like I said earlier. But I also tried to sign up again it also said I am already signed up. So I guess I am good. I am also going to sleep.

I don't think it does this time. Buried deep in the terms and conditions it says "promotion is not valid on existing reservations...."

So to be safe, I just cancelled a reservation I already had and re-booked it.

So how does one know if it qualifies for the 50K point or not?

I'd be pissed if I signed up and wound up not getting the max points.

Or, worse yet, they just say you didn't get to be the first 100K or 35K.

The e-mail confirmation states that you are eligible for the 50,000 points or 44,000 points.

Contrary to everyone else that is planning to matress run, check in and check out, I will enjoy my stays, even if it is a staycation, pool, gym, etc. :)

I did see that it said the 50,000 and the 44,000 when were registered. We did not get the email though?

Strange -- check your spam folder maybe. Mine came within seconds of registering.

I am really bummed about Park Inn promo starting a week later. I planned a stay this weekend in Vancouver which I have canceled. This was my only shot at a Park Inn since there are none near me. And since I will be cruising next Monday I can't register anyway.
Why the delay???

I checked both my wife's and my spam and still no e-mail. Did you book the hotel after the approval?
Has anyone found a list of the participating hotels? It sounded pretty specific that it had to be a participating hotel to count.

I just got the 2nd email. Maybe it's just delayed a little. I am sure you will get them.

The beauty of having FT friends is to ask them to help register you while registering themselves.

Too bad there isn't a Park Inn near you though.

Just enter in your city and select may 15 for check-in and july 15 for check -out. I only tried 30 days, so not sure 60 days will work.

Then click 'rate details'. It'll show you the day by day rate. Not an exact science since some hotels might not have availbility for 60 days straight and some of the prices will factor in any ongoing promotions. Also, it seems for my places, weekend rates are cheaper than weekday rates.

Well that's annoying. I made a reservation a few hours too soon for a stay I really need to make on May 16. It's nonrefundable, so I can't just cancel and rebook without paying again. I wish I knew, so I could have waited a few hours to book right after midnight. I guess I'm not furious, since I got a good rate and I really did need a place to stay near O'Hare. I was just expecting this one would trigger the bonus.

You're right all the info coming out said existing resv's would count. Oh well time to rebook. Web site did pretty well. Got my confirmations at 12:11 and 12:13. The first 10 min. were a little hectic but you just had to keep refreshing, untill you got through. :)

Is it possible to transfer points between accounts in the same name?

stay 2-3 nights at same hotel using different club carlson account?

My wife is the one going and staying in buffalo for 3 nights. Can I book a room/each night separately using my and wife's club carlson account so we get total of 88k points vs booking all 3 nights with her account only and just get one 44k club carlson points?

I found out you can register twice. I signed up in Jan and then I found the sign on bonus so I signed on with a different e-mail. I forgot all about it until today when I could not find the email confirmations that they went to my other email. So I signed on with my first account and it accepted it for both of the 50,000 and 44,000 bonuses. I also had my wife register so we will be getting 3 sets of bonuses. Now I just have to figure out how to transfer them into one account.

The T&C state that you have to be present at check in and check out to get the bonus. I am not sure if your wife can do a check in with your number and you get credit for it?

my wife can stay May 22 and 23rd at same club carlson, but for one night book with my club clarson account/email for her=meaning i enter her name as the guest, and than for may 23rd night or nights, i can book using her own email/club clarlson account and that way we get 2 44k, 44k points each ?

I also have been looking for a definite answer to this since last promo.
So far I have concluded it is not a good idea to try,
as it is only done by phone.

I forgot all about this last night, but I thought I'd give it a shot anyway, and I got an email back from Radisson saying I'm eligible for the 50,000 bonus. Nothing from Country Inn so far.

Added: Got the Country Inn email for 44,000.

I'm staying at the Park Inn Albuquerque 6/10 and the Country Inn and Suites Albuquerque 6/11.

Park Inn 55.20 + 7.18 tax = 62.38
Country Inn 62.90 + 8.18 tax = 71.08

They status matched my HHonors Gold to Club Carlson Silver, so 2k points for booking each online, 25% points bonus. 10% back from TopCashBack ($11.81). Both hotels have airport shuttles so I'm not going to rent a car... probably just sit by the pool and read. :)

Cost: $121.65 after cashback. Points: 88k + 2952 spending + 4k booking = 94952.

Unfortunately, I have to fly to get there and that cost $281. But for that I get 2854 PQM, 3567 RDM and a bonus 5000 RDM thanks to the UA Explore the World promo. Not good just as a mileage run, but overall a great value.

$402.62 for 94,952 Club Carlson points, 2854 UA PQM and 8567 UA RDM. Plus 829 points on my Amazon Visa, and 141 Expedia points (eh), and 281 Chase UR points for booking through the UR mall to Expedia.

Now I just have to convince my girlfriend we should stay at the Portland airport Radisson when we're there for a night in July...

Edit: I may have to rebook my Park Inn stay, because that promo hasn't gone live yet and the terms say you have to book after registering. Hopefully, the same rate will be available, or they'll change the terms to make that not necessary. At least that reservation is a refundable one.

Nice, but just wondering if the extra 141 Expedia points are a better value than getting another 281 UR points by using the Travelocity UR mall link (2x bonus)...or was there another reason you used Expedia? Just curious because I'll probably have the same decision to make soon!

Travelocity (and united.com) both couldn't price the ticket at $281... they had it at $308 or $331 respectively. Not sure why Expedia was able to get it lower, but it has been confirmed and ticketed now by UA. My preference would have been booking on united.com with my UA MP Visa (3miles/$1, extra PQM). I get the same number of RDM this way out of the Sapphire Preferred, but no PQM. Edit: Actually not, because I uesd my Amazon Visa not my SP, because I've got a targeted 7500 point bonus there right now when I spend $3k by 6/30.

Who do send email/call to match status. Looked at old threads and don't see any emails or numbers.
