Any new promo codes?
I am done with Country Inn stay and unfortunately never booked Radisson while the promo code was available and valid. Looking for a promo code that can be used now. Does anyone knows if new promo code will be coming out any time soon?
Thanks |

You can still register for the Radisson promo at www.radissonbignightgiveaway.com. However, you will only get 15,000 bonus points now (instead of 50,000).

Used Topcash, checked out this past Monday, have never seen my reservation under "future reservation" or "Recent Reservation" . When I booked a week ago, I had to type in Reservation Code and first and last name to see reservation. However, if i don't use Topcash, I can see reservation on Radisson site right away without typing the reservation code and name.
Is this about right? Anxiously waiting for posting of points before next week's check in |
JUst Received all my Points with an awesome BRG so total for aprox $135 for 2 nights (wife & me) and Received 118k points :)
Thanks for all the good info here |
I booked my stay originally through TCB but then did a BRG claim that was successful.
My TCB showed as pending until I completed my stay last weekend and now a note is there saying the vendor rejected it, which I'm assuming is because of the change in rate from the BRG. So apparently you can't get a refund through TCB if you used a BRG claim as well. Didn't see it discussed but figured I'd throw it out there as a data point. |

Yes, the same happened to our BRG reservations. Also, reservations made through TCB for Park Inn never showed up.

Sorry for the newb question: What do TCB and BRG stand for?
BRG = Best Rate Guarantee |
I'll add another note that 2 different stays at Country Inn and Suites where I submitted a BRG but was rejected are now showing that the vendor rejected it on TCB. I have submitted claims on both as I did pay the full rate at which I booked. We'll see what happens.
Also I have had around 165k points post from this promo so far with another 92k or so on the way! |
Data point - I was successful in getting TCB to pay. I originally booked a country inn through TCB, and it tracked. Then submitted a BRG claim, got the lower rate, and it automatically showed up as a separate line item on TCB. The BRG rate just displayed as payable a day or two ago, and the original rate I had booked at showed rejected - which is correct. So YMMV. Lucky me, I guess :)

I hate having to chase down things to get people to do what the promise to do UUGGHH. |
There's an entire thread on using TCB for Radisson where this is being discussed. So as not to take over this generic big night giveaway thread.

Radisson just keeps on giving! Besides the 4500 e-rewards sign up bonus, I got 2k for the welcome promo, plus 2k online booking and on top of that the hotel's welcome gift for gold was a choice of items, I chose 3K. After the 20X points per $, and Gold Bonus 50%, I got the 50K. Largest payout ever!!!

If in fact we can triple dip, I’m set. I have a Radisson, Park Inn and Country Inn no more than 10 miles from my work in Dallas. Going to enlist my grandparents, who I status matched to Silver from Hyatt, to do the same over Memorial Day weekend.
18,000 points for booking online 18,000 points for normal earnings (Average of $80.00 per room per night x 25 points per dollar) 414,000 bonus points 4,500 bonus points for signing my grandfather up through e-rewards Total Cost: $720.00 Total points earned: 454,500 Converting 200,000 points for 36,000 AA miles and using 250,000 points for 5 nights at The May Fair London. I'll use 44,000 existing AA miles to polish off 2 Award tickets to London this fall with the Mrs. That will do. Where do the 414k Bonus points come from? Is there another promo? And how do you get 25pts/$ instead of 20? Due to status? |

And how do you get 25pts/$ instead of 20? Due to status? I think it's... 9 rooms in total: 3 rooms booked by each of 3 people So 50k + 44k + 44k = 138k for each of 3 people |
If I make a reservation with the cash and points and then cancel a reservation before the penalty date , will the points be deposited back in my account right away?

I did it twice today, switching around some stays at a Radisson and Park Inn in Dallas. The points were back in before I could scroll to the top and see the balance !^ |
Thanks very much. I was able to just change the date and pay the $10 increased fee.

How did you receive the 2k welcome promo on top of the 4.5k e-rewards sign up? Was it not one of the other, depending on what link you signed up via?

I just checked into the Radisson - O'Hare.
I must say, I am pretty impressed so far. Received two breakfast coupons at check-in and had some welcome amenities waiting in our room. The Roo is pretty average for this class of hotel, but very modern looking. The bed is a Sleep Number, which is extremely comfortable. I can't see myself ever NEEDING to stay at a hotel near ORD, but I would definitely consider the Radisson if the situation arose. ^^^ Have to disagree with you on this one. As I posted to the CC forum, we had a very different experience with the O'Hare Radisson. Room not available 5 hours after check in time. Still had to wait 45 minutes to get to check in. Sleep number bed did not work. Actually out of the last 4 Radisson rewervations we have made, in only one of them did the bed work properly. We find that only one side seems to work. |
How quickly have people received their 50k bonus points after completing the stay?

Received the Topcashback for the Radisson, but not the Country Inn, not the Park Inn. Stayed at all 3 over a week ago. So 1 out of 3 so far. The CI and PI doesnt even show as pending or any record of those 2.

Data point:

When I go to my account on TCB and bring up my Cashback By Merchant I see my Country Inn and Suites stays under "retailer"....I hit that link and here is what it says.....
"Transactions completed between May 31 and June 21 may automatically track at $0.00 or be declined. Please accept our apologies and be assured that we are working hard to resolve this matter for valid transactions. If you experience this, please do not worry. Simply send us a ticket via your account and we willl give you an update." I have not yet tried to contact them but it seems that they are at least aware of the problem.....I had two stays a week and a half ago..... |
Transactions show for Radisson and CI&S, but not for Park Inn.
|
Got my 50k points (+2k online booking, +2635 room cost+silver bonus, +250 food and beverage points, except I didn't buy any food. Gotta check my cc bill) for my stay at Buena Park Radisson Suites. Got a nice room, had a good stay. Saw a fun Angels/Giants game. :)
Went from 0 to 155k points in pretty quickly with this promo, very happy with it. Hope they do similar next year, and I get my fiancee in on it too. :) |
