The 2 club passes, do we have to travel on United to use the passes or we can use them anytime anywhere?

The pass I have in hand does not stipulate that you need to be on a United flight or anything of that nature. I would imagine that you simply hand over the pass (it says "One-Time Pass" on the front).

I just received my membership package which includes a membership pamphlet. I did not receive my 2 free United Club Passes
According to the T & C, it states: Please allow 6-8 weeks from your credit card account anniversary date each year for delivery....... Doesn't anniversary year mean the date you renew your credit card? It seems like some folks are receiving the 2 United club Pass. If so, what does the T & C say in your membership booklet? |

My wife and a baby will travel on AA & JAL next month. This could be very helpful if she can use it in Narita. Anyone has any suggestion? Thanks.

AA & JAL use terminal 2; United uses terminal 1 (so its lounge is on the 3rd floor of terminal 1). You can download Narita Airport maps & information here: http://www.narita-airport.jp/en/trav...ial_guide.html

Thanks for the info. Do you know how long it will take or is it convenient to go from T2 to T1 just to use the UA lounge?
I would imagine the bus takes just 4-5 minutes and most likely runs fairly frequently. If your wife arrives early to check in (and then has enough waiting time before she needs to head out to her gate) this might work. Note, however, that on certain days the line for the required security check/passport control can be quite long - especially, in my experience, at terminal 1. |

Didn't know whether I'd get these or not. I recently received my 2 passes at ~3 months. The expiration date on them is March 2013.

I'm in the same camp. If I click through United.com, I see the 60k offer, but the application page shows "your application is currently being processed" instead of "Apply" button. I did apply a month ago but got rejected due to holding the freedom card at the time, which I have since closed. This feels like a cookie type of problem, but I just can't get to the 60k application page.
Any help?

Anyone? I did 4 apps yesterday so I'm trying to act quickly.
I've talked to a handful of people at Chase and they keep passing me along to someone else who can't help. If I log out of my United MP account, it will allow me to apply for the 40k offer (shows the "Apply Now" button). When I am logged in to my account, the 60k offer shows up - however, instead of "Apply Now" it states "Your application is currently being processed". Again, I did the app for the 60k offer in October and was denied b/c I had just gotten the Sapphire as well as many inquiries. That application is no longer "active" with Chase as it has been more than 30 days. Am I only allowed to apply for 60k once? |
My husband was able to link to and be approved for the 60K offer today.

First time poster: I have the United MP for a few years now and it is my go to card. I saw you can can get the bonus and got the 60k screen so I signed up. I read in the past that others who had MP were getting the bonus for the Explorer. I got a "wait 10 days" screen, is their any way I can speed it up? also anything I need to do to get my 60k?

You'll see that this happens to people sometimes. Just give it a few days and then call in. You don't have to wait the full two weeks, but let the system process your application and move it along before trying to call. When you want to call, look around the forums and you'll see the Chase reconsideration number. They'll help you figure out the status of your app. If you have the UMP Visa, you may want to offer to move credit from that card to the new one if that's an issue that is holding up approval. |
