Any recent updates on the possible 60K offer? About to do an app for the Chase Ink Bold Biz otherwise.

I think this is it. It's 50k points upon first spend and the sneaky 10k after spending $25k in a calendar year. The email I got does promote it as an "up to 60,000 miles" offer.

Hmm...I just got the Sapphire Preferred in December, so was planning to wait a month or two before doing more cards. Hope the offer is still accessible then!

Just got the offer with the same expiration date, but cant apply after just getting 4 other chase cards. Anyone know if it really expires then, or have people used it past the date?

No one can know for sure whether the United Explorer card offer will still be available after the January 31st expiration date, we can only speculate.

The Chase Marriott 70,000 point offer was available for awhile through direct links after the offer came down. This offer may stay up too, but how long is anyone's guess. Chase seems better at limiting their big offers than some other companies (like the Citi AA 75,000 x 2 that was available for close to a year).

I recall a Chase United 50,000 mile offer last spring, then nothing big until the offer for elites started coming out in November (50,000 miles on first spend, 10,000 mile bonus for spending $25,000 in a year).

Many thanks to dabearz73 (and everyone else) as this "trick" worked perfectly for getting the 60k offer to post after I logged into united.com.

Most see an offer for 40K for signing up to the Mileage Plus Explorer card. Rather than clicking on that link, click on the link below.

As long as you are logged in and have not previously clicked on the 40K link, the 60K offer will pop up in a new window. If you click on the 40K link you need to log out and log back in.
Worked for me. My wife applied for the card and I will wait to confirm that we'll actually get 50k mile using this trick.

Link did not work for me at first - My United account had 0 miles.

I then transferred 46 miles from OnePass to United - cleared cookies - logged into United (now showing 46 miles) - click on link - and viola - the 60K offer appeared.

No instant approval - no doubt I have too many Chase cards at the moment and will need to do some negotiating. I would like to keep my existing Continental card as its about 7 years old, but if I have to, will allow Chase to close it down to get the United card.

Thanks for the tip, Forextrader. I followed your steps, and made it work.

I don't have elite status with Continental OR United, but merged my accounts last year. Logged in all the time to see if I got the 60k offer - nothing.

Logged in tonight and the offer was right there on the home page. My elite status is still zilch, but I got the 60k offer.

Maybe it's open to everyone now? I'm thinking so!
This was the URL for the offer page:

The front page of united.com is the 40K offer. However, when I logged into my mileage plus account, the offer is 60K miles. I clicked through the link and applied the card. It seems that it is the current official offer now and you don't need to trick the website to get the correct link.

Yeah, earlier I had to do the post #330 runaround to get the 60K offer but now it comes right up when I log in to my United account. I applied and got the "review" (up to days or something) page. I have my fingers crossed. Looks like it's a wide everywhere offer now. I doubt that United will offer more than a 50K (+10 K for big spending) offer in the future. I say, go for it lest it dissappear. .
