I ended up going for it as I'm in the same boat. I did take a screenshot of the offer that led me to the application. I currently have a Chase UA MP Select card, been my primary CC for the past 4 years.

I got a, let you know in a couple days, message. So we'll see.

Most see an offer for 40K for signing up to the Mileage Plus Explorer card. Rather than clicking on that link, click on the link below.

As long as you are logged in and have not previously clicked on the 40K link, the 60K offer will pop up in a new window. If you click on the 40K link you need to log out and log back in.
Got Sapphire cards for husband and me about 2 months ago. Got the spend and points for my husband and only have another 1,000 for me. Now this offer comes along!!
Went to United site and the 60,000 offer was waiting for me. I applied and got application under review. My husband was harder to do. First I had to transfer some continential miles over to united, he had only the 40,000 offer showing. Using the work-around link, after several tries, I was able to get the 60,000 offer to show for him. Applied and got the application pending notice also for him also. Have never been denied from Chase and am hoping that this will not be the first. I will call and let you know what happens.

Called and my husband and I were both approved. Husband had to move some credit from his Freedom Card

Thanks for the link dabearz73!!!!

got the UsingMiles update e-mail that suggested there's a 60k offer (didn't read this thread until now)

logged into my MP account and there's a link to the 60k offer... but I just cancelled my old United Mileage Plus Visa card. I last applied for a Chase card at the end of September, and got it... a Priority Club Visa.

do I need to wait until March (6 months since last Chsae app) or can I apply for this 60k offer sooner?

Can I ask which page you land on to see the 60k miles. I have a choice to land on "my reservations" or "my mileage plus"?

I had transferred(once again) 3k from Continental to United. However, it was showing that it wasn't successful on the transfer website. But when I logged onto both United and Continental accounts, 3k was added on United and 3k was subtracted from Continental.

EDIT- There was No 40k offer this time on a banner. I had to click on the United Explorer Card picture below where it has "Learn More" and then click on the link on Post 321 to get to the 60k miles. I tried again and now it doesn't work but takes me to the Chase page to enroll.

Is the FACT that as long as I see the 60k application form to "apply now", I am good to go REGARDLESS of how I get there after I logged in?

Thanks dabearz73,
This was the only way I was able to see the 60,000 offer. I tried the miles transfer, cleared cookies, switched browsers, and your link was the only success. Got instant approval.

Sorry about hogging this thread with so many questions.....

Should I wait till January 14, 2011 to apply since my last one was Chase Marriott on November 13, 2011. And the ones (4 Chase CC) was from Mid May through Mid June 2011 (over 6 months ago)?

I am anxious about receiving this offer and patience is not really in my vocabulary book.

Thanks and this will be the last question on this thread

It's probably better to wait. I know that's hard to hear. I'm anxious about this offer as well. You will still have to probably call the reconsideration line when you apply since you just applied a month ago and have 4 other Chase CC cards. Be ready to have to replace an existing cards with this one.

When I applied for the Marriott in November, I canceled my One Pass and moved CL to Marriott. I plan to cancel the British Airways and transfer CL to the United Explorer.

When I see the Pending, I call within hours to the reconsideration department and never had a problem with approval. I don't bother waiting for 3 to 4 days.

Me too. Just called and got Sapphire and United by killing Hyatt and Continental and using the CL's.
I love Chase reconsideration line, provided here as a public service 8882450625

Applied and was instantly approved last night. Had the 60k offer upon signing into my MP account. For what it's worth I have about 16k miles in my MP.

Well, I applied for (and received) the Continental card about 5-6 weeks ago, and I just found out that I've been approved for this 50k offer...I am shocked (and needless to say, very happy ). Just thought I'd share in case anyone out there was in the same situation.

Had an Ink Business, Southwest and Sapphire, all registered in the past few months; denied for CO and UA cards.

Appealed the UA one, explained that I just achieved status and would be using it a lot more; allowed them to shift around some credit; and app was approved.
