I tried the same this morning via webchat but the agent told me that since I already made a voluntary change following that schedule change, nothing more could be done.
The suggestion is to wait and see, as the current policy arrives only until 31st March. It's annoying.

What’s my best option now? How likely is it that they’ll fly to
CAN in early April? I’m thinking about trying to rebook to early April, hoping they’ll cancel those as well soon, so that I can rebook again for later this year...

I was looking to wait until shortly before as well. My trip is around the same time (early May).

Mine was via web chat too, and the agent knew that I had already made a voluntary change but still allowed it, so it's very much a case of keep trying until you get the right agent

They told me in webchat they cannot change until they issue their April policy. They are aware of the iata timatics rules but still have to wait until back office reissue the policy before they can do anything. I suspect by end of the week they will have something specifically for BLQ/LIN etc through tickets to HKG. I made clear my intention was not to postpone or refund as I wanted to be in HKG for those dates I had already booked. I guess we’ll see if they allow origin change

The bump was indeed from I to D but is funny cause it keeps the same fare basis "I0PF2IT" but it just rebooked me into D. This means that still the original rule applies, unless I am wrong but don't think so

Of course, it's always the original fare rules that apply. You only earn more points. You don't suddenly get a full-flex ticket or something.

FinnAir just updated their site about ex Milan:

FLIGHT CANCELLATIONS TO/FROM MILAN 9 MARCH - 7 APRIL

3 March 2020

The health and wellbeing of our customers is a key priority for us. Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Finland has updated their travel advice and advises to avoid unnecessary travel to Milan due to the coronavirus situation. We will cancel our flights to/from Milan between 9 March and 7 April 2020 and between 4 March and 8 March we will fly one daily flight instead of two daily flights. We are sorry for the inconvenience these changes may cause you. We follow the situation closely and will update any new information on this page.

The cancelled flights are:
  • Flights AY155/AY1756 to/from Milan between 4 March and 7 April 2020
  • Flights AY1751/AY1752 to/from Milan between 9 March and 7 April 2020
If you have a booking on any of the disrupted flights, we’ll contact you personally via SMS and/or e-mail. Please go to Manage booking or Finnair App and check that we have your current contact information so that we can reach you in a case of disruption.

You can choose from the following options if your flight is cancelled:
  • Change your travel until 30 June 2020.
  • We do our best to re-route you to your destination.
  • You can apply for a refund for the unused part of your flight ticket and the purchased travel extras.
If you wish to make changes to your flights and choose a later date for your travel, please contact Finnair Customer Service or your travel agency. We are at your service also on Twitter @FinnAirHelps, on our Facebook pages and via chat on finnair.com. We are sorry that our customer service is congested.

Since I credit to BA for me it doesnt do a difference for Tier Points accrual, it will give me a tad little more avios but those are pretty worthless tome anyway

This won't affect anyone in this thread AFAIK. Can we limit updates to those relevant for this fare (eg. AY updates relevant to BLQ or the entirety of Italy)?

It may well affect people, we don't know. I'm traveling from STR.

None of these fares were sold originating at MXP. Of course if there are relevant updates that effect routings booked on this fare (inc dep STR) they should be shared!

Contacted webchat for BLQ-HEL-HKG-HEL-BLQ in April. Refund allowed but only due to schedule change (90m). Dropping BLQ-HEL and HEL-BLQ allowed. No other changes allowed.
