Got the same email. No way. The change usually has to be 2 hours or more. Some airlines are a bit more flexible, but even then it would still need to be at least 30 minutes.

I got the same message from Flugladen, which also stated in the same e-mail that changes and/or cancellations where not allowed under these changes.

You should be able to change flights from CAN to HKG.

so apparently BA is allowing waivers to HKG until end of May and has extended its cancellation to China until mid-April. Wonder when AY would do the same.......

What I want to see is if AY decides to continue with the single service per day to/from HKG in April/May.
I have two flight booked on the same HKG service they cancelled for March, and I want to know, possibly sooner than later, if I will be moved to the other in order to work on my schedule/plan (already revised once or twice).

My flight was auto moved onto the sole service in march. Most likely doesn't help but a fyi.

My HKG-HEL AY102 flights were bumped earlier by 90 minutes at some point. No chance of a free change with such a small bump right?

I was able to move from AY 102 to AY 100 due to this schedule change. I wrote a post about this two weeks ago. I'm on the phone now and I can't check, but should not be difficult to find.
All was made through a live chat agent. I think you can try and see what happens

So since my original flight booking the flight back from HK on April 21st has changed to depart 1 hour 30 mins later than originally booked. With everything thats going on I don't think I want to drag my family to Asia and would rather either rebook or cancel. Issue is of course for most if moving then the summer months in Asia is wet and sticky. Has anyone had more luck moving their flights due to a change in schedule. I know Qatar are usually very accommodating with a schedule change. I know we will see further updates to their policy in the next week or so but as positioning flights are booked and paid for I would like to see what I can salvage. (the one time I didn't use points for positioning flights lol)

With Italy now in panic mode over Coronavirus, I wonder how long before BLQ-HKG looks like one of the worst possible trips you can embark on!

Will AY, or the German OTA most of us booked with, allow changes if the relevant health bodies suggest it - or is it simply a case of just a refund?

What really bothers me are the chances to get caught in mandatory quarantine / refused entry...

I would surely not complain if AY would let change starting point, but if too many countries restrict movement and transit, I will reluctantly contemplate the refund path if it's not possible to postpone far enough.
