Finally the notification regarding AY101 for 29th April has arrived.
Still no news for the BLQ-HEL flight on the same day, not bookable anymore and with a seat map of 6 occupied seats in J and 3 in Y.
I booked directly with AY so I have no information whatsoever regarding Expedia.

Just changed my reservation. Originally booked on Travelstart.de but after being put on hold for 2hrs, I decided to ring up Finnair US and luckily they were able to help. Changed my itinerary as well as asked for a few clarifications:
- STR - HEL segments can't be changed / ditched
- Outbound and Inbound flights all have to happen before June 30
- Can change from CAN to HKG AND postponing the trip. So we did both, now flying in May to HKG.
- Overnight layover in HEL is no longer necessary. So we now have a short layover for STR-HEL-HKG
- Still booked in I for all 4 flights, it seems like they have streamlined the process and no more charity upgrades from I to J/D
- In case HKG set travel restrictions on German visitors (like Macau just did today), we can call back and ask for further changes.

Just received a notification from Finnair that AY101 is canceled, and that they rebooked me on the best possible alternative flight. However, when checking Manage My Booking, it still shows the original itinerary. Let's see what they come up with.

Finally got my HAJ-CAN flight from last week changed to TXL-HKG in May.
The agent said that the rebooking window had "not yet" been extended, so flights can't be moved past June. The "yet" wording was probably not intentional. I hope it was a Freudian slip and that we can soon move flights to later dates as well.
Now I just need to decide if I want to credit those flights to AS or BA. The original plan was to credit to AS since the earnings are better. But then again, AS will probably massively devaluate their program next year when they join Oneworld. But then again, maybe I would have Oneworld status through AS then?
Or I could simply credit to BA - because I'd like to renew my Oneworld status for this year as well. Otherwise I'd have book another Oneworld ticket just to renew the status. Oh, the agony of choice...

I'm not even sure if to cancel automatically and apply for the refund or use the webchat to have it done by an agent.
I would really like to move the trip to October, but for various reasons - and husband preferences - i'm going to cancel. Pity because I was really looking forward to this trip.
