For each request, please include the following information:
Departure Airport:
Miles Needed:
Required Spend or Budget:
Available Travel Dates:
Required Metal or Codeshares okay*:
For each response. Please quote the original request. DO NOT START A SEPARATE THREAD.
----
NOTE: You will have greater chances of success if you have greater flexibility on travel dates and cost. If you need a lot of MQMs on weekends only for < 5 cpm it probably won't happen.
Other creative possibilities depending how many MQMs you need:
----
*"Required Metal or Codeshares" is, approximately, asking whether you need a flight operated specifically by Delta or if partner flights are ok. If you are just looking for MQMs to hit a Medallion tier the normal way, then the answer is yes. If you are doing a status challenge, the answer is also probably yes, but read the T&C of your challenge carefully to be sure (for the regular status challenge the answer is also "yes")
NOTE: some partner flights earn MQMs at reduced rates. See this chart for more info.

Other creative possibilities depending how many MQMs you need:
- signup bonuses for various DL-branded AMEX cards (usually have a spend requirement)
- if you already have planned travel, consider buying up (in advance, not at check in) for 50% MQM bonus and more flexible same-day-confirmed options which are another way to increase MQMs
- Hilton 250 MQMs per stay of 2 nights or more
- if you are close to a threshold Delta often will offer a buy-up (at exorbitant prices). 2016 thread, and speculation/anticipation thread for 2017

Hello all. This is my first post with you guys.
I am looking to make a couple of cheap trips from YYZ to make the most AQM on AirCanada (Star Alliance). I need 9 or 10 more AQM. Anyone have any good itinerary. The cheapest I found on GoogleFlights for ~$700 with one overnight is:
1) YYZ-YUL-YQB, 2) YQB-YUL-YYZ-YQT, 3)YQT-YYZ-YUL-YQB, 4)YQB-YUL-YOW-YYZ
Two problems with this. 1) I can't seem to book these on AirCanada's site, 2) booking through other sites does not show if this is EconomyBasic or EconomyStandard (which is what I need for AQM).
All suggestions are welcomed. Thanks.

Departure Airport: PBI
Miles Needed: 1,499+
Required Spend or Budget: hopefully less than $500
Available Travel Dates: 12/22-12/31/19
Required Metal or Codeshares okay*: DL only
will be 1,499 short of platinum, also would be looking for more to max rollover MQM for 2021 status (given uncertain 2020 schedule, plus a likely switch to UA mid-2020.
EDIT: I have LGA-PBI-JFK coming up with no buy-up opportunities (outbound sold out, inbound already took FCM offer, plus it's a 2020 flight).
Big thanks for everyone here on the wealth of knowledge, DYKWIA stories (and other ridiculousness), and guidance for these types of queries.

The chart for all the partners can be found on the Delta website at: https://www.delta.com/ca/en/skymiles...rline-partners
I got my totals now, and i need 23,392 for diamond.... argh. And with some family member health issues, i may not be able to travel, but that is another problem.
Final question for the group - has anyone explored if there is any "affordable" higher cost upgraded flights to earn double the MQM in half the travel? I can't seem to find any that (as expected) that are not 3x -5x the cost of coach. What i mean is spend $2500 fox 2x MQM instead of $1250 for the same final MQM result (regular + bonus)
Thanks canuck_traveler and all others that posted.. very helpful group!

Is there a separate thread for KLM/AF/European mileage runs? I have been following this thread for a long while now but I guess the people here are more inclined to use Delta?

Thank you Canuck_traveler! I have never had a trip to LV give me over 4,000 miles, so I am nervous that I might be just short. Is there a way for me to verify this is true? I just flew to LV last week for only 3,494 MQMs and $524 MQDs. Ticket cost was $591, booked through Company's Concur. Flight out was DL1545 L Class, Flight home was DL 1602 K class. thanks!

Log into your Delta.com account and price the flight; it will show you the MQM's at the bottom of the page.

On the unofficial skymiles calculator website, it gives the MQM earned as 4512 MQMs which is quite close to the Delta indication of miles earned in my previous posting.
Maybe you can call Delta and ask what happens if the MQMs earned quoted on the Delta website when a purchase is made is different than what gets credited.

Run for Gold
Departure Airport: TPA, MCO
Miles Needed: 4300
MQD Needed: 0
Budget: As cheap as possible
Available Travel Dates: 12/17-12/18 or 12/23
Had a work trip that would get me back to Gold fall through and now I’m scrambling. West Coast flights are kind of crazy from TPA. MCO is a little better but I keep coming up a bit short on the Delta calc.
