shouldn't be an issue to do a 65-min turnaround in BOS, as all 3 or so AS gates are clustered together in their own section of the C Terminal. it might even be the same plane making the turn, which would make this MR a breeze.
look at the LAX-BOS and BOS-LAX flights the past few days. Did they use the same gate in BOS? if so, they use the same plane.

has anyone done this before? It's certainly tight, but if the gates are near each other, it seems doable.
I just did that two weeks ago. You're out and back on the same plane, which leaves from the same BOS gate you arrive at. The crew changes but that's it. I got upgraded both ways, which made it more bearable. We were delayed over two hours leaving LAX due to BOS weather, which made for a super long day. But since both fights are the same plane, they were both delayed and I didn't miss my connection. This may have just been rerouting because of the delay, but we landed in a remote area of the BOS terminal with no food options other than snack stands. Definitely made me wish I'd brought some food with me.

That would the C40-42 mini gate area that AS inhabits at BOS.

Search the flights directly on Condor site shows more flights and also no UPUPUP prices! I booked 2 RT in Dec total 3300USD, gives me 100K RDM and 48K EQM.

I found one on AS departing BOS-SEA-SAN RT same day 331USD 7080EQM. Multiple dates, an example https://www.google.com/flights?gl=us...200*.USD.33200

6,697 - the outbound routes through SFO.

Unless one needs the incremental mile, the direct BOS-SEA-BOS same day turn has a better CPM - can be priced at $217 or lower.

Departure Airport: PDX, but could reposition anywhere west coast; YVR, etc.
Miles Needed:12000
Required Spend or Budget: $2500
Available Travel Dates: 11/1 return by 11/6
Required Metal or Codeshares okay: codeshare OK; International OK
Chinese Visa: No

Prefer to do this in 1 trip if possible. Whilst I've achieved Gold already, my lady needs 12000 miles to reach MVPG.

Thanks in advance.

Tokyo in AA premium economy?
PDX-DFW-NRT -- $1,349 (12,800 miles on the international segments)

Another option is Singapore in AA/JL premium economy, though you may run into an issue crediting the AA-marketed JAL segments.
PDX-LAX-NRT-SIN -- $1,273 (17,500 miles on the international segments)

Departure Airport: SEA (or, in a pinch, YVR/PDX/BLI)
Miles Needed: 13K Alaska or 17K partner to MVPG next year (currently MVPG through corp offer)
Required Spend or Budget: Preferably under $600 if it's to nowhere, if it's to somewhere actually interesting without taking 2+ days off, under $1K
Available Travel Dates: Before EOY; Pref weekends +/- one day (so M/F OK but not preferred); not avail Nov 10/11, Nov 21-25, Dec 25-31
Required Metal or Codeshares okay: Fine with either as long as I get there

Thanks! Tried looking for a bunch in a cursory search but not much look. Should have booked more SEA-LIH when they were $230

EDIT: One other note. Strong preference (I.E. paying more) to knock it out in less trips than more, because I value my weekend days off really highly ($250+) if I'm taking a trip to nowhere.

Departure Airport: SFO or OAK, with LAX area airports as a backup
Miles Needed: 5,359 to re-earn MVP Gold
Required Spend or Budget: $400 - $600
Available Travel Dates: Weekend trips in December 2018, so dep. Friday eve / Saturday morning departure with Sunday return
Required Metal or Codeshares okay: Alaska or partners

SFO-BOS-SFO works to get this done in one trip itself. Any other ideas?

I think BOS is the best for this - $250 same day turn on Dec 1 for 5394 miles if you'd like to do it in true MR fashion. Seems like a perfect fit.

One possible solution is 2 trips of: SEA-SFO-BOS-SFO-SEA. That'll get you 13.5K and be $700-800 if you search carefully. Unfortunately the flash sale just ended, but there are still plenty of cheap seats. It sounds like most flights to BOS turn back to the origin, so it's the same plane and would insulate from some IRROPS. And yes, you should have booked SEA-LIH when they were $230......

Yeah I was looking at that too. I have a hard time finding one that doesn't involve an overnight though, which adds expense + time. I literally only have 3 free weekends before EoY so time is precious for sure. Maybe looking at a partner trip to asia would be easier.. not sure.

Are you up for Y or Y+ to Asia or are you a J only for International legs type of flyer (oh, wait - that’s me )?
