On the email with the new benefits it says that there will be a new design and if you add the card to apple pay you can get a preview of how it will look.

Does SPG number have to belong to primary Amex SPG cardholder?
 

Hi all

Wife is about to apply for SPG business Amex but when we travel as a family we usually book under my name (as I typically am the one focusing on earning stay credits and I'm the one w SPG status).

Can she put my SPG number on her SPG business Amex card application? This way stays booked under my name will trigger the Sheraton lounge access benefit?

I've read about folks with multiple family members changing the SPG number on their Amex card to the same SPG loyalty number so that one family member ends up accruing the 2 stays benefit per csrd. I'm wondering if something like this is doable at the time of card application

Also I'm wondering if it's possible to get a referral 5k starpoints somehow if I refer ? I have a personal Amex SPG. And would refer a business app ? (Maybe such a link isn't possible)

Is the 30k offer for a Business SPG card available anywhere? I see the 25k offer though previous posts mention 30k and I know Amex has upped the offer by 5k past few summers.

Planning on booking some stays at SPG properties in Asia for an upcoming trip and prepaying. As of tomorrow, can I use my current SPG card without foreign transaction fees?

SPG AMEX cardmembers will start benefiting from FX Fee Removal, effective 8/11/2015 12:00 AM EST. Any FX transactions after this date/time will not incur any FX Fee.

When trying to apply and add my SPG number, it does not let me add an account number more then 10 characters, and mine is 11... Am I missing something here?

Known problem, scroll back to post 2344 (January 2014) and read forward. Consensus seems to be that you should leave the field blank and deal with it later.

I was hoping I wouldn't have to do that because I just applied for the Business as well(and had no issues with 11 characters), and read they could give you a hard time for having both accounts. I'll give it a shot, thanks.

Also, Lurker said the issue was fixed, so it looks like it has come up again. The old post don't say much on what to do.

Who is they, and where did you read this? It should not be a problem, provided it does not take you above the four credit card American Express limit. (Green, Gold and Platinum are charge cards which do not count against the limit. Blue, Everyday, and most co-branded products are credit cars.) If you apply for two credit cards on the same day American Express may defer consideration of one application for about five days, but they are not consistent.

I should have specified that the issues dealt with the 2stay/5night credits. I've read a few post where Amex won't give the second set of nights since I already received them from the business card.
