Anyone else have this problem? Any idea what's going on?

Thanks.

Don't know why the points are not posting, but there are a few of us that have reported the issue in the Starwood section.

Starting with post #1076: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/starw...l#post14540171

Starwood Lurker II graciously PM'ed me yesterday offering to address the issue with their CC department. I don't have any resolution yet.

Transferring to Starwood section because problem is already under discussion in threads linked in post #2.

I signed up for my first SPG Amex and closed above the $1,000 for the 30k points limit on 08/18. I still don't have my 30k SPG points.

I looked on the application's terms and conditions and noticed it said it could take 8-12 weeks to post. It's good to hear they typically post much sooner.

+1 for my wife's account: both monthly spend and signup bonus (10K) posted. (She did not make $1K in purchases yet, so we expect another 20K down the road.)

+2. My 1080 posted, but not the 30k bonus. Hopefully, later today.

From SPG Additional Cardmember to full-fledged Member

My wife is an "additional cardmember" on my account. Her card number is different from mine. Of course, I earn all the SPG points on her card too.

Is it straightforward for her to applies for her to apply for her own SPG card to earn bonus SPG points ?

THanks in advance.

I had the SPG CC for 8 years and just called to cancel due to the increase in the annual fee. No questions or anything from the CSR. Canceled in 20 seconds!

Yes she can apply for her own and earn her bonus.

SPG AMEX More "all-new benefits" in store?

I am seriously thinking about cancelling my card as well. However, this weekend I got the following e-mail:
Two new Card benefits are on their way.

Your Card is about to get even more rewarding. Two all-new benefits are being added to your Starwood Preferred Guest® Credit Card from American Express. An announcement with more details will be arriving soon.

Remember, your next great vacation could be right around the corner. Your Card gets you free nightsą at over 1,000 extraordinary hotels and resorts in nearly 100 countries, and free flights on more than 350 airlines — all with no blackout dates.˛

So every time you use your Card, you can be even closer to your next amazing getaway.
Does anyone know if these are the changes previously announced (:td:) or two "all-new benefits?"

Thanks!

Odds are it's the same "new benefits" excoriated at length in this thread: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/starw...press-u-s.html

I figured as much. I'll probably be taking my 20+K in spending elsewhere starting next month.

OK, bonus points are an attraction, but after that I don't see any reason to continue with 2 cards with separate annual fees. You can always transfer points to each other if needed.
