Looking to stay there in July. The rates seem off the chart, even on Priceline.

Even the amount of points required is crazy.

Was wondering if there any discount codes that are available. Thanks in advance

I tried several codes from the OP but did not find anything for the Istanbul Courtyard. Dates are 4/13-4/17 in case someone knows a promotion I missed. Fortunately the weekend rate is 84 Euros.

84Euros is a pretty good rate. Have fun!

PS - You might want to check the property's website; usually if they have promotions they'll be listed there.

I have done that before. I called the hotel ahead of time and explained that I will be arriving later on or the following day, but my wife and daughter will be checking in at a given time. The hotel would fax me a credit card authorization form. I would fill in the information, fax it back with a copy of my personal debit card and federal ID. I never ran into any issues and neither my wife.

Any current codes for use with the Marriott inside TPA airport. The Best I can get is $134 Saturday April 29 using AAA

Did you check the specials on the hotel's webpage, or under Membership Rewards?

if yes, and nothing is coming up then $134 is probably the best you will do.

Last night I took the time to do so, lowest rate for location I wanted was $109. Using the codes, I found a rate for $69. Since I need 2 rooms- savings of $80.

BUT - you have to put in the time searching. The same code did NOT work for any other hotel in the area, or even for that hotel one week later!

Can one of you techie people write a script refreshing this answer that has an auto reply for any post that includes the words "Any current codes for XXX or similar" or for any single digit post counts responding to this thread

Did you really find two hotels at about the same time, both for exactly 109, and one lowered to exactly 69 with codes and the other lowered to excatly 69 (minus 25%) with LNF? Or did you get your numbers mixed up?

(Or are you able to do LNF on Marriott codes? If so, I don't understand how, I though it had to be "publicly available" rates in both the original and comparison rates submitted to LNF.)

I did try all the codes , notice where i said AAA was best. I didn't think it would be that big of a deal to ask a question. Do all of your 23,xxx posts insult people ? GROW UP !

Since AAA can be selected by a button push (no need to type in a code), IMHO it wasn't clear that you had tried all the codes from your mention of AAA being the best.

And all the codes we know about are posted! So you asking if there were any codes implied that you hadn't tried them all!

It's "other sites" used for LNF that we avoid posting online, by Marriott forum policy, and that you have to ask for privately. But with the codes, if they're publicly usable, they're already posted in this thread. (And if they're not publicly usable, they're not usable by you, unless you have one from a special affiliation, which only you could know about in that case.) So asking for codes can't get any more codes posted!

So if you have already tried all the codes, I don't know what you meant by "any current codes" as a question.

Hi, guys, I don't really understand how do the codes work. If I'm not eligible for some corporate codes or codes that are require you to be 'somebody', aren't the marriott website itself will show you all the available rate like weekend rate, advance purchase rate etc etc? Or do you guys mean that some rates are hidden but are actually usable if we enter those codes ourselves? Thanks.

Yes, there are codes that you are allowed to use just by virtual of being a MR member. Several that come to mind are: MEB, M11, M12, V12. I'm sure others have their pet codes that do not require you to have any particular ID or membership. As I understand it, that is what you should find listed in post #1. Specific corporate codes should not be listed here. Some companies/properties will allow using corporate codes while on personal travel and some don't.

I wish MR would allow you to list those codes that you are eligible to use and bring up the best rate, but it is a long involved process to search for that elusive savings, be it corporate codes, promo codes, or membership codes.

Unfortunately, not all of the codes will show up with a general area/hotel search. Some of them require you to actually input that code to see if it is available.

I asked the question because MAYBE SOMEONE had stayed at the TPA Marriott recently and knew of a discount code or some special they were running.

Funny how AAA was the lowest rate available, Maybe you could ask if I tried all the codes. One sentence reply. You guys would rather spend more time with your replies trying to put people down. Does it make you feel superior ? Too funny.
