I can’t help but wonder how much Marriotts customer service would improve if all these phone agents were freed from this non-productive activity by consistently working to the same deadline (whatever it is) as the webform.

Honestly, how it it that this company can be such a screwup? 4-night PAID stay (Fri-Tues) doesn’t post as of 14 days past checkout.
next night we did a reward stay...posts the next morning! FFS, is Marriott using a logic to delay issuing points for as long as possible?
It isn’t like we are allowed to pay 5, 10, 15 days post-stay.
But at least now I can plant a tree instead of getting points.
Of course we will have to call the “missing tree line” to get the tree actually planted.
*****edit/update****
Call them today to get it fixed. They add 4-night stay (but list the stay date as today) then add another hotel—for TODAY—that we aren't staying at! And STILL haven't updated Nights This Year.

You may send a copy of your hotel folio to [email protected] and one of our associates will look into the missing stay credit for you.
If you need any further assistance, please let us know.

It is an odd feeling that all my recent Bonvoy stays have been posted automatically. I have nothing to follow up on. Hope Bonvoy can keep it up. ^

What a pain...
Had two stays not post within 10 days so I called in (forgot it was 10 business days). Rep was nice enough to post the stays for me since she could somehow see them and the correct number of points to add, but the system doesn't do this automatically? She told me that stays booked through corporate tools like Concur take longer to post which seems strange to me...
Realized rep had missed my MAGC points so sent a missing points request in online. Received a reply two days later to call in since I have a PIN on my account and they can't access... uggghh. Maybe add that to the form so I don't waste my time?
While calling in to get my MAGC points added (which rep did quickly) I noticed another hotel hadn't provided the 750 points for being an Autograph collection hotel with no lounge (and they didn't want to provide breakfast in restaurant). Rep told me they would have to open a case with the hotel and someone would contact me in 3-5 days. She said this was a hotel benefit and they would have to take care of it even though it's a published Marriott Bonvoy benefit... maybe the folks that reach out to me will offer me the $100 instead
Guess I'm back to using spreadsheets and calling in once a month so I don't waste my time doing this every missing stay/benefit.

Had an issue where my stay at a Sheraton was credited for the wrong number of days (I believe this was due to two reservations being combined; the nights credited were only for the second part). Sent the folio to [email protected] and the issue was fixed in less than 6 hours. Very prompt service, was not expecting this based on past comments about Bonvoy. (I am ex-SPG user.)

Maybe not the right thread, but I recently received an e-mail from Bonvoy customer service apologizing for a room which hadn't been ready when I arrived at a Marriott property in Florida for three hours after checkin. I was given a detailed explanation of what happened with a quote from the manager and offered 10,000 Marriott points for my troubles.
What's curious about this is that I've never stayed at or booked a room the Marriott property in Florida.

Missing Platinum Welcome Amenity Points
I recently had a stay at a Sheraton Grande and I think they forgot that I was a platinum even though I checked in at the Elite desk. My room wasn't upgraded and my welcome amenity of 1000 points is missing. Since I've already completed the stay, there's no point complaining about the lack of room upgrade but how should I go about claiming the missing bonus points? Do I send an email to the hotel or is there a formal process?

Did the stay post to your account? If so, the Platinum line can add the missing points amenity in about 2 seconds
Or you can email them the folio to post it (either over phone instantly or to research team) and then when they post it they can also add the welcome amenity
