I had one stay from August 11th (check in before the merge) to August 31st (check out after the merge)
+ another stay from August 31st to September 5th and nothing has been posted yet.
Those are 25 nights and would help me to achieve the next level + gift, so it is quite annoying...
Should I wait the 10 working days after the second stay in order to make a claim for both stays?

Me. My primary account is the new SPG/Marriott account because this is where my YTD and lifetime nights and statuses are now correct. It's also where my free night certificate is and my upcoming reservations (in SPG properties) are. I'll use this account for everything now - legacy SPG and Marriott properties.
When I merge I will bring in just 25 lifetime nights and 12 YTD nights and that's it. So I'm holding off until later this year as there's no immediate benefit from doing so especially while the IT is still so flaky. If I merged then I'd get my 50-night award I don't need this until the end of the year. I'll merge in November probably.

Even just reading about legacy Starwood properties not recognizing status of former SPG status members (now a Starriott status member) is already somewhat concerning.

Checked in at Le Royal Meridien Shanghai yesterday and was surprised to see they had me as "Starwood Preferred Guest" in the status field. I made the booking post transition (and post account merger), and have earned my status on the SPG side in the past.
Breakfast, lounge access (and upgrade) were declined upon check-in until I told them I was Platinum Elite -- they checked their system on another computer to confirm this. Really poor experience, and I can imagine many elites getting robbed of their benefits across the network if this is a widespread phenomenon.

When checking in tomorrow I'll see if they still could see my previous stay records and what they will offer me...
p.s. My SNA can't be used for unknown reason....

Could this be why? (From T&Cs)

Yeah, you can't request to use a SNA after the last sweep, which is at 2 pm the day before arrival, using the local time of the hotel.

The question was to sscywong .... Was the attempt at applying your SNA done after 2pm the day before, hotel time?

my lifetime nights are wrong now too. and they were right a few days after the merger. I am short 18 nights, which I think is my YTD Marriott number but i am not sure. I am traveling and my printed out screen shots are at home.

Since my booking was made last Thur... and actually not just this booking, I can't use SNA on any of my bookings made.... Some are not eligible I know (like at Design hotel or Ritz Carlton)... But I really have no clue why those I can apply SNA before (same property like LeRM Shanghai) can't now... Don't know if my nights YTD is less than 50 and the failure of properly recognizing my SPG Pt 75 status as PPE means something to the system or not.... Maybe the system thinks I should not have SNA certificate at all so the system disallow me to use them despite that the balance of 10 SNAs are correct....
BTW just checked in... Front desk said they do can see my prior stay records... Hardware still the same... But software-wise everything feels so different from my previous stays....
1. Got "upgraded" to a better view standard room (bund view lower floor zone room for those who've visited the hotel)... Previously mostly got upgraded to a higher floor park view room with around 30% chance of getting upgrade to their "standard suite"...
2. The "snacks box" is gone... No fruit in the room as well (but less than 50% of my previous stay have fruits in the room though)....
3. First time to have someone to come to my room and ask if my room is ok 5 minutes after I'm in the room... Don't know if this is a Marriott service standard or what...
All are minor stuff... I'd say so far so good... Let's see after I've checked out how the system record my stay and I believe this is the most crucial concern we all have in view of all the post-merger chaos.... Or at least mine

Another data point.
I'm using my new SPG account as my primary and haven't merged yet. Two weeks ago I had Sunday Brunch at the Ritz Carlton in Macau and they proactively offered me Points, took my new number and gave me the points slip and receipt. Nothing has posted yet. But I have the receipts so I will claim it in due course.
Last Sunday I had Sunday Brunch at the St. Regis in Shenzhen and paid using WeChat (special offer in a WeChat app). they manually wrote my new SPG number down and I left without any receipt or points slip (not too bothered about the points TBH). Yesterday (Tuesday) 1800 Points appeared in my new SPG account from the St Regis Shenhen. So that worked.

Your lifetime nights are probably correct. Some accounts were adjusted on September 5th to take out any accrued nights from the calendar year 2018. These will be added back in after the end of the year.
If you are missing an FNA from your P50 choice gift, we can look into that if we have the account information.
