Is SSVGC Sutton Bank? Also, for full loaded value, does that mean the full $500, that seems to be rare these days. I will give the Pathward/InComm combo a try this week for MO, thanks

Secure Spend = SSVGC is also issued by Pathward Bank and serviced by InComm. It's a rebranded "One Vanilla" card from a few years ago, and looks like it. Many stores never changed its name, and you may see "One Vanilla" on the receipt.
p.s. yes full value meant $500 or whatever you loaded to the card.

Thanks, That's interesting, I went small and did $475 on a Pathward/BHN $500 VGC, however it was registered online prior to liquidating. Wondering if I need to keep registering these to get them to be able to be liquidated via MO? I'll go up to $479 now that I got $475 to work.

Both pathward and Sutton VGC serviced by Incomm works for the full 500.

It depends on where you are.

These dont't work at Winn-dixie or Publix for full amount ($500).

A bazillion DPs in lots of threads around here, plus my own personal experience. Run these for any amount less than $500. Even $499.99, because swiping for the full $500 often triggers fraud alert and locks up the card.

PS. Why are we talking about InComm in the BHN thread?

So is it the newer expiration dates not having issues liquidating? Here's my data point to help pinpoint the problem.

bin 41181031 exp 05/31 no go at $500 1st swipe, waited a day, no go at $499 either. calling to get replacement
bin 40975812 exp 10/31 no go at $500 1st swipe, waited a day, no go at $499 either. calling to get replacement

bin 40975825 exp 08/32 1st swipe at $499, no issues

gonna need to get one of those w/ an older exp and try $499 to see if it goes at 1st swipe.

these are for MO at Krogers BTW

Can I take some of my $200s from OD and buy one $500 gc from maybe Kroger or WM? The multiple swipes are bringing heat everywhere.

LukFilm Jun 5, 2024 6:59 pm

Yes. Walmart works too.

Am I able to do it at self check or does it have to be with an cashier?

SCO works fine. Pay with it as "credit" for less issues.

If you don't know how to do partial payments at WM's self-checkout, now is the time to learn.

Since people have been reporting that they are being asked for name and phone number when buying WM MO,
I have decided to do a pause.

Its funny you post this as I was out trying WM last night. First 2 $99 swipes worked out but the next 3 I had to swipe at least 8x to get the next $300 but finally got the $500 to go through. I would alter the change amounts and usually the 2nd/3rd swipe would go through.
