Funny experience. Had some work done on my home. Contractor’s payment processor charges CC fee, but waives it for Debit. Tried it out and gebits worked, but got velocity throttled: 3 cards per x minutes.

$450 worked fine today.

Is this $449 for Kroger MCHC or VGC?

This reminds me to ask if anyone is aware of the recent Kroger limits for 4358s or 5113s from Staples/ODOM $200 sales? And or if both still work for $99 at WM

ODOM and Staples $200MCGC only work at Kroger's for full amount , just did a few $199 MOs today. Visa does not work for $99+. So now can someone confirm what works for Kroger VGC and MCG? MCG I used to work for $479 but last time I did it was June 1st and visa is not working since April

My first stop at our local grocer was for $479.99 (for BHN with fee) which has always worked before, but failed. Went to my other store and $469.99 worked for MO plus fee.
So am I reading that there are also issues with doing more than 1 swipe (2 cards) with staples $200 Visa cards now?

So Master card worked for $469.99 or Visa?

$469.00 for Mastercard. I have not tried the Visas lately.

My experience is as follows. All MCs.
Day 1. Bought 4. At Kroggy: 1, 2 worked for $480, 3rd, 4th declined.
Kroggy 2: #3 $480 declined, $20 from #1 worked (autodrained), #4 $460 declined, #3 $460 declined, #2 $20 worked.
Day 2. Another Kroggy. #3 $480 declined, #3 $450 worked, #4 $31 worked (total of $481)
Wait 10 minutes, same Kroggy. #4 $451 worked, #3 $48 declined, $45 declined.

Also, few weeks ago, I was trying to use MCs from ODOM at Kroggy. $480 didn't work (2x$200+80), but 2x$200 did work, also visa from Staples didn't work for $80, was passing as a credit.

MasterCard version so far. BHN shenanigans are apparently in play again. I've yet to see how the $200 Visa and MC versions are affected around me. Time will tell......

Today, $480 declined, $470 worked.
Another try, same Kroggy. $479 declined, $475 declined, $470 worked. Receipt now shows remaining balance.
$471 worked also, but it was MC from a different store. Go figure.

Hmmmm. I wonder what happened with the Visa. Any other DPs on the Visas?

Visas also work, but unreliable. I did use a mix of 4 $200 MC/Visas at WMT. I had another few GE/SE visas, went to one Kroggy, declined, went to another Kroggy, $200 SE passed, $200 GE passed, $80 GE declined, $74.99 (same GE) passed, $5.01 5B passed. Go figure!

It seems that the limit is $474.99 now, YMMV.
