What does DH stand for in this context?
Dearest Husband, he does most of the unloading, and he wanted everyone to know it wasnt me that was posting the info, but him |

DP: Simon cards - can only ever liquidate ONE card at the store at a time - that's it, for BHN cards. Waiting 10 minutes, still can not get a second MO. That experience is the same if using a single high Simon's VGC w/lower MOs, or using different VGC if they are BHNs.

VGC throttling now at FD?
Last week I loaded a Staples $500 VGC to BB in NorCal, then immediately tried to do a second and it was rejected. (I don't like to split the loads because it seems to attract attention and suspicion; if the cashier says anything, I make a vague statement that if I try more than $500 at a time it tends to error out.) The same thing happened today but this time I went back an hour later and the same VGC worked. The transaction history for each shows "Purchase Original Sale FAMILY DOLLAR -$500.00" followed immediately by "Purchase Original Sale Reversal FAMILY DOLLAR $500.00". So I suspect these cards are being throttled similarly as is being reported at other chains even though this had nothing to do with MOs.
Incidentally, Monday I went to the only other FD in the area for the first time, and the cashier said that they had removed the BB loading option the week before. |

Incidentally, Monday I went to the only other FD in the area for the first time, and the cashier said that they had removed the BB loading option the week before. Yesterday a different cashier let me do $500. I then tried to do $400 on the theory that the failure was because of back-to-back duplicate amounts ($500 + $500). Nope, second load failed. The same GC worked a couple of hours later. So it appears that this FD limit loads to $500 for some interval less than two hours. These were all using Staples $500 VGCs. |
I went to my local spot where I normally do two MO's back to back in separate transactions with the $200 Visa/MC form Staples/OD. I used a SE from OD and it worked fine, then the second one rejected twice with the PIN entered correctly and said "contact issuer." Hopefully they didn't cut down the transaction velocity from two to one?

Recently got WU BP working for OD flex BHN MCGCs. Has anyone come across limits or shut downs by effectively BP'ing the CC originally used to get the gcs?

I have one regional grocer that the traditional VGC and MCGC work for MO, but the Grocery Everywhere cards do not (they used to). Interesting, because when I use SCO for groceries, the GE cards work fine. Didn't know they could have different functions for different registers between customer service (MO) and regular grocery check out.

This seems to be the case now at SOME locations. I just tried 2x $200 at Weis Markets and the second swipe did NOT go through (as recently as September 9 this did work). This DID work at Giant Food Stores. So at Weis now I can only do $479.21 plus MO fee in 1 swipe :(

Apologies for the elementary questions as a noob.
Just wanted to be clear: VCG = Visa Gift Card? And BHN = BlackHawk Network? If so, I bought and registered a number of 200$ VGC at Staples for the promo. I bought a money order at Walmart for 199$, no problem. But according to this thread, I should have ran into problems? |

Data point. BHN Gebit "not authorized" on $475 purchase at WD. Will try ratcheting down to $450 tomorrow.
Andyandy UPDATE: appears to have been a fluke. Reset pins and retried at $475. Success. |
