Has anyone used Everywhere VGCs to load Discover? I assumed each time I can load $200 x 3, but it failed after the first or second swipe, sometimes the whole transaction got cancelled after the failure. The only reason I can think of is the $485 limit by BHN, but it doesn't explain why it failed just after the first swipe succeeded.

What is the series of buttons that the cashier has to press for a multi-swipe/split tender?
1. 70 action code 2. Discover in 3. Zip code in 4. 1 to load, then amount (for example, I tell them $1000 for $500x2) 5. At this point, what is the button that they have to press to split tender? (2 swipes)? Most of the cashiers I've seen get stuck at that step 5. What do they have to press? |

However, WM is going to want to find out who the person was who tried to jack them around. I would highly suggest that before that happens,you go and let them know that your "debit card" did not have money removed when you tried to deposit to your Discover account. What you don't want is someone calling management when you try to make another deposit and you being banned from that WM :o |

That's happened to me a few times, I withdraw $500 from ATM and give to cashier to make them whole. I do not want friendly cashiers getting in trouble or have WM dig into customers using gebits over a $500 "gift".

This has happened to me where a $2000 MO has printed but I only used 3x $500 VGCs. Neither of us noticed until the MOs printed out, and actually I had to point out to the cashier that I owe them $500 cash because I only swiped 3 VGCs. |
