Is there a limit to the number of cards you can swipe per transaction at Safeway stores for Money Orders? I know WM has a 4 swipe limit.

Not an official limit, but after about 5 or 6 it won't autoapprove and requires cashier to hit something on screen. Back in the glory days of 5-back cards, I'd clear out the small balances this way, often 20 cards at a time. Back when I had a friendly CS manager running the MO machine.

DoC is now saying that Safeways are hard coded against Metas like WM.

I liquidated a few yesterday, going to do the rest of mine later today and will post results. Anyone try today?

Might be some misunderstanding. I never said Meta does not work. Other poster asked what I was using for MO
I never multi-swipe except for WM.

meta still working yesterday - hard coding is not in effect yet

Here, they are Jewel/Osco. Zero issues after my second vaccination, so I feel lucky.

And yes. Yes it is effing awesome. Staying in Park Hyatts in Paris in August, in Chicago in September, and Buenos Aires and Mendoza in March. Alilas in Napa in October and Big Sur in November. Really consistently get upgraded.

$5k total? Or per store? I ask because my local store needs to fill out a form for over $3k, so I usually keep it below that amount. At least for now, until the train ends.

Total. My local stores have different rules. At 2, I can do $1500 without filling anything out. The other one allows $2000 without a detailed form, so my usual run is $5k with these three.
