swipe the mc 1st before cashier input the amount

Said that corporate has implemented strict policy that Serve reloads are to be done via cash only. Oh well, another option closed off.

Lesson learned. NEVER EVER try to pull off loading BB/Serve using gebit with the Store Manager at the register. It is just playing with fire. If I was a WM store manager, I would be checking people's cards. Always try to find other folks who are not supervisors to try to load Serve via gebit.

I am admittedly relatively new to this game. However, in my limited experience loading Serve with a gebit at FD, only the shift manager has been able to perform this. On more than one occasion, the regular check out person has paged the shift manager after I requested the Serve load in order to complete the transaction. As usual YMMV, and the above may have been referring specifically to WM and not FD.

That's my experience as well at FD, always need supervisor or manager to type a approval code or his ID code something, so I finally tired of the extra step and go to DG or Walmart instead. Lol

I got approved for the wells fargo propel world amex card. Can I use it to load Serve or Bluebird or both? Does it count towards the MSR?

With some discussions lately around these Chase emails that were sent out, I keep hearing about not using WM BP to pay off your credit card, but I'm curious to know if Serve BP is considered the same and has as much potential for shutdown by Chase. I've been into Serve for 2 months and have been paying off the numerous Chase cards that I have. No cycling, just paying off the statement balance just before autopay kicks in. Thoughts?

FWIW, i don't see Amex and Chase showing up as payees in normal search in BB (must be the same with Serve i guess) after the recent bill pay maintenance. I haven't tried adding it manually with address.

I thought that funding a BB or Serve card with a CC constitutes a cash advance by the credit card.
If that is true, then you would be paying interest rates of up to 37% from the time of the advance as well as any fees tacked onto that. These costs are high and may negate the benefit you are trying to achieve.

You may want to closely examine your WF Amex card T&Cs in this regard as well as the specific Serve card you hold.;)

Loading serve with Blackhawk mcgc

Anyone have a way for this to work? I keep getting a message saying the address doesn't match? Maybe I missed this in the 90 pages of comments here.

Both serve and BB have AMEX shown up, but not Chase.

I'm having the exact same issue with a card issued by Synchrony Bank.

Make sure apartment number is written exactly same way on both.
Address must match exactly.
This could be reason why.
