Crazy, I was only ever able to successfully place one order with them back in 2015. :td:

Got some temporary ban with giftcards.com too, back in the summer of 2016. Lasted for about two months I think (orders were cancelled) and since then I've been able to order with no problems. I'm not even a big hitter, maybe 2500-6000 a month.

wish GCM's system isn't so screwed up to ban or cancel orders; got that msg after doing a measly $3k for last yr. GC is considerably more expensive, so rarely use it unless totally desperate to meet min spend

Went to place my first order and the next day it was canceled. Only 2 $500 cards. Did I do something wrong? Miss a specific phone call I was supposed to answer? I have emailed them but have not received a response and it has been a few days. Went to place a second order and was canceled immediately.

It could be that you missed a phone call.

After I placed my first order with Giftcardmall.com, 12 hours later I missed the first call. Luckily I got the 2nd call. Only then did my order go through. Not to much later, topcashback had recorded my transactions, showing the cash back.

I, too, had my very first purchase cancelled by giftcards.com yesterday. I don't seem to have any missed calls. Did notice I had missed my Apt# in the billing section, but my second and third attempts were also cancelled. (Was only buying 1 $500 GC). I wonder if I should try again in a couple of days or make peace with the fact that GC.com banned me somehow ?! I made all these transactions with my Amex Gold Skymiles.

Anyone else having trouble activating cards? I have 3 different orders from two different accounts and all 12 cards come up with this error when I submit the form: Error! Card not recognized.

I have had issues when trying to activate cards online since at least January 11th. The app or calling in will work to activate.

When I check balance they're all $500 as they're supposed to be. Seems like they may arrive already activated. I really wish they were only able to be activated from my account after I'm logged in. That way if they're lost in the mail it's not such a hassle to get our money back.

After you get the error. Check the balance. Then try activating the card after you've check the balance. Then you are able to activate all your other cards.

Mine did not come activated even after checking balance on cards and they show $500.

Sorry if this has been asked, but does anyone remember what type of visa GC is sold here? US Bank, Bancorp, or Metabank? Thanks.

In the past if a card was not activated it would show a $0 balance. This was a few months ago.

Nope, I'm still getting the error on all cards. And these are from two different accounts for orders all placed on different days and all used different CCs to purchase.

Called and she said that when the card is activated it's now showing the error. She said if you check the balance before activating it should be $0 and after activating should be $500 which they all are. And she confirmed all cards form one specific order were indeed activated.

Sorry if this is a noob question - did a search but couldn't find anything. Do giftcards.com orders code as 3x on Citi AT&T Access More card? The wikipost for the card has mixed reports.

Haven't been able to place a GCM order for over a month so thinking I may be permanently banned there; looking for another 3x alternative. Thanks!

ninim2200 Jan 25, 2017 7:10 pm

i had an episode today that happened to me for the 1st time using a giftcards.com Visa GC, i went to WM to get an MO and the register was too slow so the authorization timed out, we tried another register and it gave me a error for " no available fund" or no sufficient fund, i called GC.com and they told me the 1st transaction went through and drained the money, i told them it didn't and after going back and forth the CSR said i should file dispute, and he will email me the forms (never got them, so i will call back), i went inside of walmart and i asked them to close the register and count it to see if it show an overage of the GC amount, they agreed, the money didn't show and the register balanced. i am wondering if any had an experience similar and what advice the had.

I've seen reports that GC.com does not count for 3x on the Citi AT&T card.
