Exactly. Super sketch. Would never let someone walk away with my payment cards.
WM's policies in that regard seem to be store or district-based. My WMs are fine as long as you know the pin, others are fine as long as your name is on it. Still others say it has to be a bank-issued card. Hard to generalize about WM. https://www.walmart.com/cp/632045 Here's their website. It specifically states a PIN-enabled debit card. I had to ask my WM to get her manager, and then showed them the website. They tried to pull the "its a gift card" and I said yes, it is, but it is a PIN-enabled debit card, so you can accept it. Havent ever had an issue since. |

Don't know why people have a problem with this.

Looks like I've been flagged for excessive buying amounts. Interested in what other members are buying daily weekly and monthly

What does that mean? Are you banned from buying from GC.com? |

Can anyone confirm which bank issues Mastarcard GCs on giftcards.com? Is it USB, Bancorp, or Metabank?

Looks like GC.com is once again charging for the paper gift card when buying visa GC. $1.50/card. Up until now selecting the "Make 'em smile" card would be free, but that now shows $1.50/card. This happens with both a totally new order and if I do "Rapid re-order" for one of my old orders.
Bad tech or new policy??? Not sure yet. |
