Got a VGC from gc.com that didn't have the magnetic strip coded. First time this has happened. Was able to activated the card with the numbers on the front. Asked CSR at Wally if she could punch in the numbers, she said she couldn't. Unloaded the card paying auto insurance.

For those of you that are using a credit card reader for activation, do you still have to deal with the captcha and also enter the 3 digit security code? I'm wondering if it will save time over the copy/past first 8 digits and then manually key in last 8 digits.

Is TCB tracking the purchases from gc.com ? last 4 orders from 2 diff accounts placed on 28 and 29 early morning still hasnt been tracked. This is the first time for me , that hasnt tracked the orders this long.

any one else seeing the same ?

USPS has lost 1 of my orders, or it was stolen before delivery.
I called gc.com and they told me all 4 cards were depleted to 0 balance, even though USPS never showed it as delivered. They told me to fill out a dispute form with Metabank.
What are my chances to get back my 2000? Is it better to file dispute with credit card company?

All 4 of my orders after the 22nd finally tracked today, including one from the 23rd. TCB seems to occasionally take longer to track nowadays, but I've always gotten my CB from them. Two recent orders that I placed over Thanksgiving didn't track and I had to place a ticket, but I got the CB for them.

This is very unfortunate situation .Try with your credit card may be . I dont have any suggestion but i was in similar situation .I lost one of my card at walmart and immediately reported the card as lost/stolen to gc.com. But only 56$ was used in walmart and remaining 444$ was still intact.

But they asked to raise a dispute with the visa/ card holders services for a new card to be sent.

They didnt guarantee me for the lost 56 $ , but for getting the remaining balance in a new card, iam still trying to reach them to get the status of the dispute.

i havent got the tracking mail , but now it shows in my dashboard , but still the amount is not getting tally in the dashboard.

Why did you edit your post? You initially said that they were depleted to 0 at WM. Were they used to purchase MOs?

I order fairly frequently from Giftcards.com and had a scare where I thought the cards were not delivered to me after speaking to the guy on the phone who told me it was delivered and the balances were 0. But I searched through the order invoices that I saved from each package and found the order invoice for that order. So I had received the order and didn't realize it and already went to WM to convert them to MOs.
