Any reason that you used 52 stocks the 2nd half?
simply to test the "$2500" buy limit.

Two things:
1. Since 2011, 1099s have had to report cost basis: "Starting in tax year 2011, brokers must report the adjusted basis and whether any gain or loss on a sale is classified as short-term or long-term from the sale of "covered securities" on Form 1099-B."http://www.irs.gov/Businesses/Small-...Reporting-FAQs
2. It's fairly easy to cut and paste the transactions into a spreadsheet from the loyal3 website. Then, write simple formulas for profit/loss, basis/proceeds.

I could be wrong here, but my understanding is that the 2500 buy limit is per stock per month, but yours would only be testing whether you could buy more than 2500 in total stock, which isn't actually a limit. (I'm assuming you are doing a 50$/buy of the 52 stocks--the max they say they allow for a CC purchase).

Do you have any samples of such spread sheets? Which one do you prefer and why?

I use both google docs and excel. Google docs allows you to get ~real time quotes on the stocks, so I like that...

Here's the kind of thing I'm talking about...check out this forum, the user Cowstash has provided a sample google sheet:

correct, its more or less YMMV, i am not sure what they mean by "per month". whether they mean 30-31 consecutive days or a calender month, hence me testing the limit.

For some reason loyal doesnt seem to like duplicate orders, I placed 20+ orders and only 16 cleared.

How long do you leave the stocks after transaction after the $ is posted before you withdraw?

If you initiate a sale of stock before 2PM Eastern time on a trading day, the sale will be initiated that afternoon. The funds should be available in your Loyal3 account approximately 3 business days after the sale, at which point you can transfer it out to your linked checking account.
