IRS mandates that brokerages send 1099s with cost basis information. It's not clear how loyal3 will do this...presumably first in first out...but other brokerages sometimes give you an option. Loyal3's low overhead model probably doesn't allow for this. It's fairly easy to cut and past your buys and sells into a spreadsheet and calculate it that way for your own records.

That would scare me more for Barclay closing your account than using multiple cards on Loyal 3.
Ive used 6 different cards on Loyal 3 and put 4 to 5 charges on each per day. Its a PITA cause you have to go into the profile and switch out card numbers. Ive also liquidated a few VGC on Loyal 3. Granted Ive only been at it for 3 months but not a peep from them yet.

Someone posted a letter of warning or closure from loyal3 and frequently switching your credit card was one of the reasons.

Barclays just wants to make sure you are the one authorizing the Loyal3 purchases. They dont care how many. They still make their money. Yes, $25K in $50 transactions have run thru my Barclays card. I did get a fraud alert when I ramped up to 20 transactions per day. All I had to do was aurthorize that the charges were made by me and no problems since.

I just re-read tha L3 buy limit again and found that I was not reading it right the first time.
what does this mean, well per each individual "stock", currently 59, once can buy $2500 per month. So it appears that one can buy (2500)(59) per month on L3. So $147.5K every month.
Maximum purchase generally limited to $10,000 per IPO and $2,500 per month per non-IPO stock.

Yes, it wasn't $25k in one month, probably closer to $20K for the month of August. I use a small local credit union. They dont seem to care. I also push alot of money orders thru the account.
