Any update on this? I assume you initiated two $200 transactions to the same payee on 9/1 which you said was suppose to be paid on 9/4? Did it actually work? OR did you get a nastygram email from Evolve blocking your payee account number?

Ahhhh thanks for the info. Then I guess @susieling is screwed. I guess at this point its best not to gamble with getting your Payee account number blocked. If Evolve does create something where they may allow CC payments for a fee then this push effort was not worth it.

Both payments went through ok.

Known issue today with Evolve using Reloadit
 

I just tried to pay a bill on Evolve using my (first ever) Reloadit pack.

After getting an error message, I confirmed with Reloadit that my card had $500 balance (it did).

Then I called Evolve and got a helpful rep. He said this is a known issue today and that they're working on it.

Did you get the following error message? I've tried 2 different GCs and also tried logging into my wife's acct to pay. All got the same message.

"Please check that the card information you've entered is correct (e724)"

Sorry, this was my first SM GC being used that was purchased online. Didn't realize I needed to activate first online. Now the payment went through.

I overpaid an electric bill via EM using a $45 debit card issued by USB (issued for a cash back rebate.) The bill pay was rejected by evolve. Does anyone know if the rejection was caused by the USB card, or the overpayment?

I have overpaid my Comed (electric) bill and North Shore Gas bills through Evolve with no problem.

Did the card get authorized? Evolve wouldn't even know there was an overpayment until a couple days later if the payment was rejected from the biller.

First time user of evolve, bought some simon mall visa debit gift cards issued by metabank (500 denomination) and tried to pay sallie mae student loan $500...got a message that card type is not supported, any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Was there a lightning bolt by the bill? If so, go three days out.

I routinely overpay utilities (either electric, gas or water) to clear out a GC balance.

i used a Metabank Visa GC that I got from VONS to pay a bill just now. Got an approval but I won't know for sure until the 10th (when the payee receives the payment).

Just tried a smaller payment to com ed utility (200) and got the same error E718 card not supported for evolve money payment....do i need to register the card or something? I use my information (address, etc) correct? can't get it to work...

I posted several weeks back about Evolve not accepting those gift cards and the email reply I received from them when I asked. It doesn't appear that Evolve will change their policy (whatever it's based on).

Seems wiki-worthy, though it's not made it there yet...
