EDIT: I this weeks offer looks a little different than the one a couple weeks ago, but the $60 GC shown does apply to your Amazon balance.

If you have a 20-gallon tank, that's $24 in your pocket. Safeway gas is not quite as cheap as Costco gas, but almost, so the savings are probably about $20 over Costco. Over time, it adds up.

Talking about strategy of buy which face value, shouldn't the $50 card perform better?
$50 cost $45 Discount = 10%
$100 cost $96 Discount = 4%
$500 cost $496 discount = <1%
It appears that it only makes sense to by $500 if the deal has limits. When it's unlimited, $50 cards are better.

Controlling for variables, I do much better with 100 $500 mcgc than I do with 100 $50 mcgc. Don't you? Are you trying to keep all the variables for yourself?

The deal is unlimited only in the ivory tower. I do not have unlimited time. My Vons' cashiers also do not have unlimited patience. Nor do the customers in line (and I think holding up a line for 10 swipes would make it at least twice as likely that I get jumped by one of them). My liquidation outlet also does not have unlimited patience. So on.

Totally agreed! I need to max out my 6X MR points from my EDP and 5X from my OBC. Unfortunately, the promotion will end today.

DP confirmation/reaffiration/yadda - At Safeway/Albertsons, Usbank MCGC works with Serve after registration. Watch out for the leftover $2.50 in pre-auth test deposits.

I saw speculation that this was extended two days. Has anyone been able to confirm/deny?

Anyone tried purchasing VGCs at Safeway using an AGC? Myself and Venmo have broken up after a sweet and very short affair so I need to liquidate a 3k card. I've believe CVS and OD/OM are other options out there but Safeway would be nice since they never look at the cards.
