I also pisted on the Simpn thread, I hope the Simon FBs arent dead at CVS...
I just tried to buy 3 VGCs at CVS 40mins ago and my Simon FB was denied! Alternate payment was the message on the signature pad. I should've tried my 2 other FBs I had. Debit didn't work, as I knew debit in this CVS doesn't autodrain. |

Good to hear that you got the FB ran as debit, I was a little hesitant when bodiddey said he had to call in for debit transactions.
I have no problems so far running as credit but am willing to try debit. Someone posted before that the FB for credit usually posts by 48 hours. I've ran all mine as credit and no problem with the FB. |

running as debit in cvs for the full $500 will not trigger the 5% back automatically, have to call to get 5% posted. running as debit for any amount less than $500 will get 5% posted automatically within 48 hours. so I usually do 495+4.95=499.95 as debit, leaving 0.05 on the card.

They just worked for me at 5est. I did one at a time, times 8 as debit. Maybe the Simon cards didn't get completely activated. This is rare but happens on occasion. When I tried to do credit with autodrain the other day I got an error message saying to use a different card. I didn't try debit for autodrain.

Or at least that is what the cashier told me yesterday night, LOL. She felt more comfortable with me using Debit. So Debit it was. |

Autodrain doesn't work at the stores I've visited recently because I've been getting the alternative form payment decline.

what i mean is, you shouldnt have the cashier ring up 2 vanillas that results in $999.90 bc you would then have to request cashier to do split payment, which may arouse suspicion and complications in liquidating the FB cards? |
Some VGC are fully active after 24 hrs when activation server is overloaded when purchasing the cards.
I continue to buy 4 (5swipes as credit) in one transaction , $500 each + fees paid with 5% bonus from previous purchase. Paying for fees earns additional $1. |

I tell csr before that I will split payment into 5: 4 x $500 and separate $19.80 fee and never had any issue at many different locations.

Thanks cashcyclone
So FBcard should be swiped as credit instead of debit ? Does the CB auto post ? Quite confused abt this bc some of the post here said should use debit |
