CVS master thread

Hmm I wonder if now is the time to go all out. Near me I am still able to buy VRs with credit. But if it's ending soon then I might max out all my cards. I usually took the slow approach but if this is the end then might as well go out with a bang.

Got 5k worth of VR today. Thinking of doing the same tomorrow if I'm allowed. So far my store did not mention anything about a memo but I also didn't inquire.

Haha. Also the Walmart in White Plains... Used to go there to unload the Chase GCs. Not worth it if the MS isn't free though...

It's in a bad neighborhood and there's lots of shady characters waiting for you outside while you walk out with thousands of dollars worth of VRs. God bless America and the right to bear arms :p

Yep, concealed carry permits being approved as we type

I think a retail management course would be more appropriate but judging from your previous posts, you're the one that should enroll. Knowledgeable people have tried to explain the process to you but for some reason, you just don't seem to be able to grasp the concept of how credit cards work. Since the written word doesnt get through to you. I'm providing you with a picture;

From the comfort of your dorm room, please spend at least 5 minutes to look it over. Your knowledge of the subject will increase exponentialy and you'll at least know a little about what you're talking about.

The sellers are opening themselves up to fraud (assuming they're not doing the scamming themselves). Anyone could buy this, unload the card, then file a case with eBay claiming the card didn't work, and eBay would give them their money back.

How is this different then any other GC sold on Ebay? I am sure Ebay would contact the VR People, find out where the card was loaded to, and try to do some research.

Unless you work at a financial position at CVS, it's unlikely that either of you know what you're talking about.

Today East Hampton Long Island New York, tried to buy 6 VR (3K US) denied by register after three tries "Invalid Tender Type". Yesterday bought what looks like my last 5K at the same store using my Reserve. Damn you CVS, no more beans. Damn you Delta, no more Skypesos starting next year. Guess I got to move to Europe and stay there.

Well, I don't think they will SELL for that much. If they do start selling for more than they're worth I'll start buying them for cash at CVS and putting them on Ebay myself.
Are there really that many stupid people out there?:confused:
