Thought y'all be interested in this:
CVS Caremark (NYSE:CVS) EVP Troyen Brennan sold 18,867 shares of the company’s stock in a transaction dated Monday, March 31st. The shares were sold at an average price of $74.33, for a total value of $1,402,384.11. Also, some unusual options trading on Monday with CVS. Stock traders bought 2,699 put options on the company. This represents an increase of 101% compared to the typical daily volume of 1,343 put options. ;) Also, the put option activity means nothing as well. Not when you present it in a vacuum as you have. Maybe traders went long in the common and used the puts as a hedge. In any event, we should stay away from financial advice/suggestion/insinuation on this thread. |
CMH area- serve reload did not work, was told cash only for VRs but was willing to try anyway. worked fine.

Just wanted to add my 2 cents regarding the memo since I worked for CVS for 10+ years.
Appearance wise, that is exactly what internal emails look like including formatting, fonts and the email browser window. Additionally, this will only be enforced if it's a system update. Managers rarely read all the junk corporate sends and I'm sure many haven't seen this unless a DM brings it up. It's super easy to override most system controls by simply inputting a managers override number, which any long term employee has memorized and is trusted with. |

Live from Atlanta, GA (ATL) -- Found a store with the old POS card terminals. Cashier just sold me $2,000 worth of Vanilla Reloads and tended the entire payment from my credit card! SCORE ONE FOR THE GOOD GUYS!
Another CVS in Atlanta limited me to $1,000 and said no credit card after 4/1. Definitely seeing mixed application of the policy. |
Loaded Serve with CC at CVS today in DSM. Hope to push thru April's 5K before the end.

Heard results in Brooklyn are mixed based on location. No idea on Queens. The real question is what move do people in NYC have now, since we do not have access to walmart?

This means nothing. Executives often have a schedule they follow re their stock options. This may have just been an exercise and sell transaction.
Also, the put option activity means nothing as well. Not when you present it in a vacuum as you have. Maybe traders went long in the common and used the puts as a hedge. Besides, the changes have been planned for a while. Also, there are other companies I'm following and I'm incidently seeing more affinity cards leaving Visa for MC than vice versa and one must look at all aspects and not single data points as you know. |
Question: Does this cash-only change also affect Visa or MC gift cards that can be used to load BB?
