I heart my store manager. Yesterday he let me set aside 10 VR's for purchase today. He put them under the counter.. he wrote a note w/ my name and "do not sell"

I'm glad he did because they were completely wiped out by Noon. I bought him soda and candy.

Bought my last 10 today and it was the last 10 they had...

Bought $2.5k at two CVSs just north of Indy today with no issues. Neither store was aware of the memo.

I also have a gas station that allows me to buy them with a CC but I bought the last one in stock last week... hopefully another shipment comes in soon.

iam not getting my large transaction blocked that many times these days. i love the temporary blocks. I have earned over 40k points free in last year just for the inconvenience. This doesn't include the points for purchases.

Wisconsin: It's in the XXXX-area, but I don't want to give specific store or else people here will be calling him to confirm. The last thing he needs is a bunch of people here harassing him on the phone or trying to get him to confirm details on the memo.

I went to CVS in Chicago all out of the Beans. When I fly back to the RDU I hope some are still left in the massive amounts of CVSs in the area.

Not sure what idiot/s is starting this rumor. Just went to my normal store and they called the district manager to verify and no stop to cc. This was after I bought my 5k today. Some idiot possibly blogger as I have not read the beginning of this trail thinks this is a funny April fools joke. They are creating a panic and if the guy in the fake email sees it there could possibly be issues from them posting. I then called three other stores in different states and no one has seen a memo. I am in ga. I called TX Cali and Fl.

I can also confirm that CVS stores have got memo in Ohio. Though I was able to get 5k today without any problems.

I don't know if they'll be willing to do it or not, but when you call you should ask them if they've checked their email again this afternoon. My CVS's manager got burned because although the email was sent yesterday morning there was some problem with their email where some of it didn't get delivered to him until much later that day. See my post a couple pages back about what happened to him. And he's a "by the books" kind of guy who reads EVERY email that comes through, without skipping any.

That's good news for him if there are lots of other stores where the memo didn't come through properly (he's less likely to get in trouble then). And maybe corporate will delay implementing the policy by a couple days if they see it didn't come through on email for lots of stores it was sent to.
