What I am beginning to do is post here less (and thus cause less rifts between fellow fters) and be out on the road doing MORE MS instead! :D:D

The issue is work, lots of it, plus the lovely weather has made getting to work a hassel, once things calm down, I'll double that figure and a couple of momth before our trip I'll triple it....

I have slowed my posting to, people have become too lazy and also posting false infomation.. I have my sources and will stick to with them...

good plan

stick to those who can help you and aid in your ms world, or to whom you seek advice and information in share/trade.

I got to a point where it became a job to do this and I made this little switch where suddenly the amount of time I was spending on it all was good because it was real solid income (of miles, points or CB) and so if I spent say XXhrs a week doing MS but was able to say I could clear $XXXXXXk a month or more in this "temp job" then it was certainly worth it all!

it is a temp job. could end any time. But it is well paying if you are able to invest the time and effort. People do need to think for themselves though and test things and figure it out before being lazy and just asking over and over.

I run $15VRs per month. I'd love to do more, but with a second daughter on the way, I'm actively trying to figure out how to MS a condo for myself

I'd be more ok with the time involved if I didn't have to deal with annoying folks making their own policies. Luckily, CVS staff around me have been easy to work with. It's the WM trips that are most painful, now that I think about it.

I wish one day we will be able to buy Virtual VR or the VR plastic online, like many other gift cards (not have to deal with some annoying CVS employees, save gas money and time waiting in the line) and load it online and do the billPay (like AmEx BB, no need to run to Walmart). No worries about money laundering or fraud

Found out today some locations are still enforcing 1k/day limit. No big deal. Plenty of other locations willing to sell 5k/day. Just a little more legwork involved.

I just have to say that finding someone else's "hided" stash of VRs is about as satisfying as it gets. I thought we had all gotten past that point, but I suppose not.

Precisely. I'm netting $15k profit every month from MS. It's not fun and it's definitely work, but there's gold in them there hills.

Did you misplace the decimal point?
Why post that figure and draw unnecessary attention?

I went to 2 CVS's today to buy beans. The first one I went to they had exactly 10 cards and they were hidden behind some moneypak cards. I think some MS'ers had been to this one. Manager told me I could only do $2K/week. I said ok and got my $2k. Went to another CVS about 1/2 mile down the road and they had 40+ cards. Took 6 cards up the counter and the cashier didn't bat an eye. She rang them up for $3k and I was out the door. In 2 days I met the min. spend on my SPG, SW Plus, and SW Premier.

Lol, +1. I thought I came up empty on one visit yesterday but found some VRs mixed in with something called Club Penguin.

I haven't bought any in months but have been following the thread. I needed to buy but none were to be found. Checked more carefully and found someone's "stash" and bought the 2.

They had to scan my license, call CVS for authorization, and then I had to call my credit card before it would go through.

That's why my husband gave up on buying them. Didn't bother me.

Taped on front of the register was their policy. Cash only for debit cards. Cash and credit cards for gift cards and all prepaid cards.

Just want to say I have read EVERY post. Thanks to all those who have shared. My wife said "you have a problem" when 4 new cc's arrived the other day. :)

Anyway, I'm in PHL area and have tons of CVS. Some have no VRs, some have lots. No issues with cc, but I can't speak to the 5K limit since I'm not at that level yet. Yet.....

Bought 2 for $490/each today on 2 different CC's and no problem. (I'm varying the amounts just in case).

Just remember that it's $4 for the same amount! The transaction will always be an odd number because of the card fees.

But no worries about starting slow and welcome to the game! My boyfriend says the same thing every time new cards arrive in the mail for us, but quiets down immediately when he sees the trips planned. :)

PHL is definitely a great market if you're into VRs! :)
