Ha! Good catch!

I meant that with the 100K points I'm getting for 2 WN 50K bonus CCs, I will have plenty of points for any unplanned travel this year.

So I went into CVS today with the family and we got passport photos and Swedish fish. That's it. No VRs.

I wasn't even shaking when I got back into the car.

Great, but how are you disposing of the Swedish fish? WM, BB, TA, LSMFT?

There are times when this forum really needs the positive/thumbs up button. This would be one of those times

Other CC to charge it to like I have... If it's company related, I'll use the company CC.

Question guys. Can we use CVS gift cards to buy VR and others?

I have an opportunity to burn some of wifey's citi points for 10% discount on CVS.

Fico2Go Jan 26, 2014 10:43 pm

great question

Why not try it yourself at the local CVS? seems each store is different. Some won't even let you buy VR or GCs with a credit card. Others will. Some have $1000 limits a day. Others let u buy up to $5000 a day. I would imagine that some will let u buy with a CVS giftcard and others won't.

Not trying to sound rude but specific answers like this requires actual experiment. For example.. in my area there's almost no VR payable with a CC. But I can find endless supply of Moneypak with CC. ANd I can buy endless visa GCs with CCs.

I guess I should of been more specific. I meant are the registers in some way hard coded not to accept CVS gift cards to pay for others. =)

I live in an area where so far, 6 out of 6 CVS stores let me buy any with CC.

Was wondering if anyone actually had success.

.

I'll be up front with this, what is stopping you from trying it and report to us how it went. How do you think members know how things work and don't work? we go out and try it ourselves...

Then what is the point of this forum?

Is it horrible that I bothered to ask if anyone had experience with them?

If not. not a problem, i am going to go out and try it myself anyway, but I figured I would ask before I potentially waste money.

I am sorry if I bothered you all.

It's almost not worth contributing here at all.

God forbid you ask a question... either get a...

1. Go search newbie.
2. Go try it yourself.
