Their main downside is Giant rarely has the discount offers that Safeway and others have, so it's hard to get the cost down.

What's the most you've bought in one trip?

Chicago suburban CVSs have been drying up one after another. One day full stack, next day all gone. I don't think that is the case of somebody taking them out or hiding in the store. At last, I found one location that I don't regularly frequent and bingo! - plenty of beans, but that location enforces $1k/day policy.

Go to the usual cvs tonight, I remember 15 days ago there were plenty of VRs. Today only one left, really do not know why.

I left one VR at the counter at the 1100 N Clark location. Beware though. The clerk got on the PA and announced to the store that I was purchasing 3k in gift cards and that he needed the manager. He was hyperventilating and could hardly ring the cards up. The manager had to come up and calm him down and tell him "It's okay, you can do it"

Yes, MS is just a means to an end. So if the beach is the "end", enjoy it! MS is just a tool or vehicle to get what you want.

Enjoy life's pleasures!

The kid at my store today said "i'm not even sure if you want me to say the amount out loud, so you can just read it on the screen." I love training the newbies.

Yes. The #1 rule of MS is to not take vacation because it takes time away from your MS activities. :)

Went to a CVS today that I never go to to actually by something - they had VRs hanging by the cash register. I found out why the second I handed the guy my credit card, he claimed cash only, "it's a national homeland security policy". For a split second I was tempted to enlighten him, but then I decided to let him live in peace with his believes of contributing to the protection of mankind.

^ :) sometimes I am reminded of 'The patriot Act! or fraud prevention ;)

I think there should be simple way to tell cashiers that 'Cash Only' policy actually encourages the 'Money laundering' activity.

Officially declaring that if U are a terrorist or homeland security risk we welcome U with your 'cash' because U like to hide your identity, our policy is not to ask for ID when U pay all cash and U cannot be found without Credit card data trail to track U down..

The guy at my CVS in Illinois said that it was a warehouse problem - that they order Vanilla Reloads every week and they just haven't gotten any from the warehouse for the last 4-5 weeks.
