Do NOT let Rite-Aid scan the GoBank barcode. You will be charged, but your funds won't load. It is a PIA to get your funds back.
Want to stay active? Be sure to only load when your balance is at or close to 0. Continuing to load when you have funds in there seems to be a no no. Swipes are recommended, but there are folks active that don't swipe.
Lots of $200 loads can get you shutdown. GoBank does not like paying load fees on low denomination loads. Two $500 loads is better than five $200 loads.

americanindian (closed)- closed after 3 months today. had about 7.5k deposit each month, with lots of small value(<$20) purchases each month. liquidated mostly using bill pay.
rodsren (closed)- the dapperdon warned me. I was closed today after less than 5,500 or loaaing in less than 3 weeks (was going to try to keep it to 7,500 - 10,000 but didn't luck out.)
binnycode (closed, re-opened) - 7x $200 loads + 1x $700 load + 3x $500 over 2 days got me shut down. Called CSR and they re-opened my account, letting me know that "direct deposit would reduce my number of trips to walmart" lol!

Loaded my first time last night at Kate (Wal-Mart Kiosk) and no problems at all and I use it only for swipes - my little experiment. I load money and then go to Winn-Dixie to buy money orders and deposit them. So I have no bill pay or cash withdraws - I will see how this works for a few months. I am limiting myself to 3k a month on my card and my wifes. 6k a month = 72k a year is not too bad along with my 3 bluebird accounts and my 3 amazon accounts and other items.

loaded via kate with metabank 200 vgc this morning.
Yesterday at 9am I loaded 2k via kate with ov to bb and gb. shopped for 10 min and then liquidated another 2k of OV (well really 1999.99). Got very lucky, from the looks of things, I got in just as the door was closing.

I was doing the same on 3 cards for about 8 months, loading about 5-6k each month without any purchases and just doing bill pays, but then received warnings on two of the cards. I recently started loading again on the card with my name on it as I'm wary of a card getting shut down with somebody else's name on it.
I will still do some purchases to keep it real... does anyone do cash withdrawals as well

Staying under 5K in the 3K-4.5K range seems to be the best way to avoid getting shutdown. ^

Tried to load a OV card on Kate today. Was denied "Debit not Authorized".

using the card for purchase means NOTHING.. I spend 30.00/month with it. Loaded 2500 each Sat, bp out on wed (2100) lasted 5 months, was shutdown for "not using card in the intended way". Called and was told I was flagged because I loaded and BP out too soon. Never a mention of spending on the card.

I tried to do 2 bill pays. One just now and one last night. I am getting an error message, "we are experiencing technical difficulties." Might this be a sign that I am being shut down or that the account is partially locked? I haven't been doing that much volume on here.
