I've had a few of those put on hold and then eventually they get cleared, so I stopped doing them. The ones on hold were from a newer PP account that I just opened for MS, my long-running account that I also use for fleabay had no issues with A->B. But given all the other talk about shutdowns with ACH, ATM etc. I don't bother anymore and just liquidate with Kroger MOs. No issues there.

OK, I've gone through the thread and haven't seen anyone address this question - forgive me if somehow I missed it. Has anyone tried opening two paypal accounts for self and significant other (one premier/business and one personal each) and done the following:
Load paypal cash to Self 1--> send to SO 1--> withdraw to SO bank account
Load paypal cash to SO 2--> send to Self 2--> withdraw to self bank account
I've seen all the warnings about being careful with paypal, I'm just curious if anyone has actually tried this.
Thanks!

That was what I was talking about - some of those transfers to spouse's PP got put on hold, then were cleared later. On my old account they went through automatically with no holds.
Be careful here, it's not guaranteed that you can do this on a regular basis especially with new accounts.

I just figured this out, accidentally. Like you I updated all the "profile" stuff, still wasn't getting verified through /cash site. Finally while running a different experiment I hit "add money" and was taken to a screen asking me my "business type" and asking me to verify my mailing address, etc. Did that, checked /cash, and got the Blue Button of Life.

Unfortunately, it turns out I'm also suffering the no-reset problem, so didn't end up helping me liquidate!

I saw this in a blog post from last year. Maybe some people have been given a reduced load limit.
"Paypal has reduced the limit on loading on my account to $1000/month, my first load was last month for $2000. I am stopping on paypal completely."
There are some other complaints at this link.

I think Incomm is just screwing around like with the Vanilla->BB shutdown.

I get this now on two accounts (which have each been open for more than 10 years):

Identity Verification Failure

Sorry, we are unable to verify your identity using our National database.
Please go to www.paypal.com, log-in to your account, and visit the "Resolution Center" to
complete this process and fulfill the manual documents requirements. Once we are able
to confirm your identity, you will then be able add money to your PayPal account.

In the event where we are unable to verify your identity you may request a refund via the My Cash
website. Click here to request a refund.
Of course, there's nothing in the resolution center.

Can you elaborate? What do you mean by screwing around? Are you saying you think PP is about to change the way MyCash works?

I don't have those messages you described. For the past few weeks I've seemed to have a $3000 limit instead of $4000, assuming my calendar counting is correct. I also noticed my June PayPal statement hasn't printed yet. I wonder if the 30-day limit is also tied to that somehow (maybe there are 2 criteria, not just the 30 calendar days).

The paypal-cash.com website seems to be run by Incomm. I think they're just playing their usual games that they do when they suspect MS.

Thanks! This worked! I've been battling the same "identity verification" issue since last week on my business account that I've had for many years and use frequently. Amazing that 3 or 4 CSRs had no idea how to fix this problem. Even had to create a personal account to load two Mycash cards. Got an immediate warning after sending the funds to my biz account.

Well, I cautiously take back what I said about Incomm (for now). This worked for me too. Hmm . . .

anyone knows if this reset problem is recurring! I don't recall anything like it in recent history. I am wondering how long it will take this issue to be resolved?

vodkashine Jul 9, 2014 8:53 pm

I wish I knew.
I'm sitting on a few cards plus my Amex Blue Cash is getting a little cold!:p

My paypal account limit is not reset as well.

xshanex Jul 10, 2014 6:37 am

Like many here my 2 PP accounts did not reset as anticipated. Assuming worst case and this is permanent any ideas on how to unload PP Reload Packs? I have a few thousand in hand (they can be hard to come by in my area so I picked them up a few days before my reset date when I saw them on the rack).

This worked for me as well on my account that had the identity verification hold. I can now load $500 which I think is the correct amount I had. It should reset in the next 4 days, I'll keep an eye out on it.
