Same issue for me. I keep a rolling count and it should have reset on the 3rd but still hasn't (same across 4 accounts). Error I get when I actually try says "You've hit your monthly max of $4k. Try again 1st August 2014". I've done no loads at all in July.

On an aside - I ran into the failed purchase of an OV at 7-11 after 1 approved sale of an OV. In the end, it looked like a charge and a charge back - and who cares, other than the auth hit to my CL. But there is a clear auth and then a clear negative auth in the temp charges.

That US Bank thread makes no sense. I would take it with a grain of salt. The only safe way with PP MyCash is to liquidate via purchases, such as MO. Transferring between accounts or withdrawing from the same account leads to account closure.

It sounds like from the posts here the resetting issue is affecting everyone, if not the majority of PP users. My take? Just wait it out and see when the resolution is.

I guess I should hold off on buying reloads. I was looking forward to my reset (due tomorrow) so as to get a little break from my OV-MO routine.

I have been having the same issues as everybody with the reset count. The other thing I noticed was the cashback amount on my ppdebit biz. I made at least 100 bucks in signature transactions. They did not give me the 1%. Things seem a bit funky right now with the ppdebit biz.

Can anyone provide a quick process flow of the easiest way to take advantage of this?
Is it buy a reload/VGC card/paypal mycash card --> load into paypal --> withdraw into bank account? Im also seeing western union xfers and dont understand where that fits above. Thanks! I live in NYC so MS/giftcard purchases with credit cards may be slim. |
