From my personal experience, liquidating through cashbacks at your pharmacy is safe (but slow).

How much are you able to do max cashback? Don't know if it is safe to do multiple max cashbacks per transactions.
So I haven't pushed it with multiple cashbacks on the same day, and don't want to. With this kind of conservative spend, I clear 1K-2K with PayPal monthly. Plus, I do have some very legitimate spending with my PPBDMC and get the 1% cashback for it! It's not fast and clean MS, but it's nice and safe. This kind of strategy is good to meet minimum spend for CC sign-up bonuses (that's what I've been doing these last several months). Of course, all of this may go away because my go-to RA have become real jerks about not selling me PPMC with CC. I have to try the CVS stores here. |
Went to CVS today to buy 2 Paypal Cash cards for $500 on each. After the cashier swiped my card for the second $500 card and then scanned my ID, the register froze. She called the manager and the manager told her to try another register, to my surprise, the same exact thing happened. I haven't bought any Paypal cash cards since Nov 14th, so i couldn't have exceeded the 2k limit.

PP
"so it's easy for me to find something to buy and add a cashback to it. I fill up my wallet with cash so I never have to go to the ATM any more, and in fact at the end of the week, sometimes I can put some of the cash back in the bank to pay off my credit card bills".
You are violating the rules of MS. Never buy stuff you don't need just for MS! You are losing $$.. Also if the above poster doesn't know why the CVS register froze, he should get out of the game!! |

Good data point, 2013. I can't give you any insight as to why that register might be freezing. Maybe just try buying one US$500 at a time? This kind of report is making me really sulky and ready to quit the game for a while. It's just starting to be a hassle to get these PPMC.

I sometimes use my PPDC for $100 CB for 2 items. $100 for the 1st and another $100 for the 2nd. Two separate transactions. Of course only @ the self checkout and only when there's no lineup. Then I go around to the next register - making sure the cashier supervisor doesn't see me - and deposit my "exess" cash to Serve  |

$100 @ any WM, $40 @ TGT and $40-60 most grocery stores (e.g. Albertsons).

Does anyone know if OD will allow you to buy PPMC with CC? I know they don't allow VGCs for $20-500 to be bought with CC.

It's not just being unprofitable. You can allow your account to lie dormant and the account will be just as unprofitable. Reasonable money laundering risk is probably a factor as well.

Real spending w/ PPBDMC is critical. And why not? Most likely you're getting cb/rewards on the load purchase (I certainly hope you are) plus the 1% back from PP for signature purchases.
I love this card for bs spend; especially for small transactions. |
Finally got the Compliance mail from Paypal. Now What?
Hello,
I got an email that says in these lines. "Dear PayPal Account Holders, We like to keep things safe and secure, including your PayPal account. To do this, we regularly check the activity on our customers' accounts. We're not sure you're aware but it appears the MyCash has been used for deposits to your PayPal account, and then those deposits have been withdrawn. The MyCash feature is for making deposits to your PayPal account for retail purchases. If we continue to see this activity of using the MyCash with your PayPal account for cash withdrawals, we may have to limit or close your PayPal account." What should I do now? I have some level of access for mycash cards. How can I be low? Any other cards that take mycash? |
