Bump for this question as well.

That technique will be fine. Been doing it for 5 months now.

I use my paypal business debit card for small purchases 3-4 times a month to keep it open, I usually buy money orders or send money to my wifes account. I buy and sell using the same paypal acct. Use paypal whenever you can to hide the load unload cycle. Use as debit and get cash back at register. You can fund 20 bucks to bluebird and get 50 back. You can do this everyday if you wanted.

Been going strong for over a year.

The 1% is nice but I would I usually have a spending limit to hit, so big purchases go on other cards.

How do you get $50 by funding $20 to BB? Could you elaborate? PM is welcome.

Thanks.

Ever heard of cashback at register?

Got it thanks, but not quite easy to scale up.

Obviously there is value in buying Paypal Mycash cards with a credit card at locations and with credit cards that provide a category bonus.

This quarter buying a $503.95 Paypal Mycash card at a gas station with a Chase Freedom card results in 2520 Ultimate Rewards points.

What other location / card combination are people using to buy Paypal Mycash cards to maximize miles/points on the purchase?

Cheers,
tomsam

For the PP Bus Debit MC, the 1% CB is only valid on signature purchases, not debit purchases.

I only mentioned it as a way to add spend on the card. I would rather use other cards with higher returns for normal spend.

So, Green dot, PayPal My Cash and VR. Is there any other way to load PayPal with a reload pack?

The Paypal logo is right on the front of the VR! They load to the Paypal Debit MC.

VR does not work with the PP MC Business Debit. It can load the other PP card though.

It appears all CVS's in my area are out of VR. They still have quite a few PP "My Cash" and GD cards. I have to meet spend requirements on a couple of cards so looking for other means than VR to meet the spend requirement.

I do not have much experience with PP. Just ordered a PP debit card. I just spent an hour reading this thread. Once I receive my debit card, I will try purchasing a few "My Cash" and GD cards from CVS and unloading to PP...
