So actually you get nothing.

But the monthly fee isn't recurring?

OK. To be precise, here is what will happen.

At the moment you purchase the card, you pay $4.95 purchase fee.

A few days after you purchase it, $4.95 monthly fee will be automatically charged to your account.

A month afterward, another $4.95 monthly fee and so on ...

There is a way to avoid the 4.95 monthly fee if you do it right.

Thank you !! I completely unaware of this opportunity.

However, considering that this is PayPal and Bancorp we are talking about, I doubt that if this catch more attention, it will be shut down.

Does this mean i can fund a gift payment to send to someone else with a visa gift card?

heyeaglefn Nov 27, 2013 7:36 am

Fees will probably kill this.

Free to pay merchants, still fees to send money to friends.

Where are you guys buying PP reload cards?

Fuerza Dec 2, 2013 2:59 pm

So, I noticed something while stopping at Dollar General a few days ago. They accept PayPal as a payment option. Does anyone know what you can or can't buy with the paypal payment option? Specifically can you use PayPal Pay to buy gift cards? And can you use PayPal with a credit card back up or does it have to be backed by a checking account?
