Nope, you have to know HOW to do it.
Its a matter of finesse.

First heard it at The Deal Mommy

Load $50 on MyCash Paypal card and get $5 +UP cash. Load $200 and you get $20 back in one transaction. Limit of four $5 reward per household.

Great offer unfortunately PayPal really sucks. I am going to get a couple and leave it at that.

See page 11 of this ad http://weeklyad.riteaid.com/publicat...d=128&pc=11106

Thanks for the great finding. Got 4 $5 coupon printed after $500 purchase, although it's not advertised in local Ad.

How good are they at the "per household" thing?

Most likely based on your Riteaid keychain card.

kvs25 Jun 21, 2013 7:18 am

what's the fee to buy these?

nvm found it: There is a $3.95 activation fee required when you purchase your My Cash Card

Another question: can I use the UP cash to help pay for other GCs?

Paypal Wants to Divorce Me

No...not over abuse of a paypal reload card....

Anyone remember those $15 FAR mobile card readers that Staples was selling?
You could get 3 rebates per paypal account...each for $15.

I purchased 12 total from Staples in 3 different transactions. This was back in February.
Redeemed 3 rebates per each of mine and the wife's 2 accounts (premier and personal). All of this was within the legal terms of the rebate, which stated 3 per eBay account, not 3 per person or household.

Today, received notice via email that accounts are 'limited'.
Called up, and the 1st rep. said they couldn't discuss and had to transfer to another dept.
2nd rep. said it was indeed the purchase of the readers that caused the limitation on the accounts. He claimed it was viewed as too much risk and that Paypal did not want to continue our romance and I should find another provider. I told him I wasn't satisfied with that answer and asked to be escalated. He got a 'supervisor' to continue the call.

The supervisor was nice, and asked what other questions I had. I asked why I was being shutdown over a rebate that I was legally entitled to receive. She asked why I had purchased so many readers and had not used any of them...and that they viewed it as too risky, since they did not know where the readers were or how they were being used. She seemed sympathetic, but she said the company just doesn't want to do business with me anymore. I told her that seemed very short-sighted over 12 $15 rebates that I was entitled to receive. She seemed to be willing to get a reconsideration for me.....put me on hold for 5 mins or so. When she came back, she said the person she needed to talk to wasn't available, but they would be in the morning. She took my number and said she would call back, but she couldn't guarantee anything.

It doesn't really bother me if they keep me closed....I can survive without paypal. But it does bother me that they are attempting to close me and treating me like I did something illegal or against their terms.

If she can't help me when she calls back, I will be sending a letter to the headquarters in CA to plead my case.

Of course, there are hundreds similar stories on the Internet about PayPal.
So, I'd predict that they will shut your account and ignore your letters.

But here is a link to cheer you up at least: http://www.cnn.com/2013/07/17/tech/paypal-error/

When Chris Reynolds opened his June PayPal e-mail statement, something was off.
The Pennsylvania PR executive's account balance had swelled to a whopping $92,233,720,368,547,800.
That's $92 QUADRILLION (and change)....

What happens if PP shuts down your account? Can you open another one? Or are you banned similar to Amazon banning you?

Because I use Paypal A LOT for a whole bunch of online purchases..and it would be very inconvenient without it. But since I don't do any Manufactured spend, I'm not exactly worried...But just wondering.

Hope everything works out for you OP and you turn over and find paypal back in bed with you. :)

Did it find out you were cheating on it with Amazon Payments?

i saw that story today too. first thought in my head was, 'i bet they shut the guy's account down for their own error'. ya know, 92 quadrillion is risky behaviour and probably a sign of money laundering...

That sucks to lose a Paypal account over a lousy $90.

I hadn't realized that they consider the readers a risk, and if so why do they a) offer rebates and b) encourage people to buy more than one by allowing 3 rebates?

Obviously you live in the same household - but what else was shared among you and your wife's paypal accounts?

Email address?
CC?
Bank Account?
