Late to the game, and haven't seen this discussed. So, if I want 3 registered MVD cards, do I need 3 separate logins or is there a way to have one online account show all 3 cards?

Do folks use MVD just for cash purposes? What other uses do you have for it?

I've been unable to consolidate my 3 cards. I have 3 separate logins.

For a while the card had a no fee cash advance option, so that was the play, esp since the card has high limits. Now they're charging $1.95 for a CA.

However, if you read this thread, you will find that there are many many people who have gotten shut down by doing manufactured spend using this play. Proceed at your own risk.

Many of those people were doing quite a bit of load and unloading. The T&Cs say CA limit of $2500 even though you can technically unload all $10k at a time.

I've mixed in a couple small swipes here and there to keep MVD happy (whatever, I pretend this helps). I've only done a couple CAs with my card and one tax payment. I haven't been hitting it hard because I have access to two BBs and MOs are just as easy around here, plus I no longer have 8 cards I'm trying to meet initial spends for.

To combat the bad reviews, I've been very happy with my MVD. I've used it for CA via bank teller a few times, and paid quarterly tax payments for the past few quarters. The only issue I've had with it are when I mistakenly loaded it above its 10k limit. The card went into an inactive status, and I couldn't even log in online. A phone call to customer service resolved the issue though.

I've also had a pleasant experience with my two MVDs. But I've never gone nuts with them either. I sort of apply BB rules to them even though the MVD limits are higher. Am practicing same with GB.

Once and a while throw them a swipe, but generally just load/unload slowly. No reason to run it up if you can spread it out.

I load 2500 and do CA. 2/3 cycles a month. maintain balance under 100 at all times.

Costs to load (3.95/500) and unload (CA-1.95) compared to Chase GC, AP free!

AP's limit is 1k/month (per account)
Chase GC is 2.5k/ month

Virtually no limit with MVD + if you are buying GCs via CB websites (TCB, BC, etc) you are actually making $$$.

Making $$$$ > Free > Losing $$$
