Wanted to add a data point that my two longest standing accounts were shut down. Did A-B, B-A for close to two years with absolutely no issues, almost all transfers were instant. Even had same CCs and banks at some point. Oh well...

That's connecting the chain... I don't think you want to do that.
Also, remember about the 200K and 200. If you're sending money back to A1 all the time... It ticks away at that 200K and 200. I wouldn't suggest that for a whole year unless you really want a 1099K..

it is 20K/200 and I am far, far away from those. At most I can do 12K/12 transactions a year to A1, or any other recipient in my chain.

seems like the Bezos tribe is on the path of war before the year end.

Can AP tell that the different cards are somehow linked?

Repost of my question... Someone's gotta have SOME insight

Did you do something out of ordinary just before they shut you down?
What reasoning did they provide for shutting them down? I find it hard to believe that after being successful for "close to two years with absolutely no issues", one fine day, without any trigger, Amazon shuts them down.

That's what happens...they finally catch you..you are supposed to have only 1 account per SS#. I had 6 on 2 SS#...now only 3 left(surprisingly all the same SS#). I suspect they'll get around to closing them next month when I try to use them.

I just signed up for AP last week. The T&C don't prohibit having multiple accounts. They do say you can't have multiple accounts for the purpose of skirting transaction limits, and that you can't fund a payment to a second account with a credit card. So for MS purposes, a second account is out, but the mere fact of having a second (or third, or nth) account isn't problematic.

It shouldn't be hard to believe given how YMMV AP is for different people. I didn't get an email. I just logged in and got the "This functionality is disabled" message that occurs on suspended accounts.

low level Bezos tribesmen do what they can to justify their payroll and their miserable existence in the company.

Did anyone have all of their accounts closed

cuebert Dec 14, 2013 8:52 am

I've had accounts suspended. I've replied online, given whatever info they asked for and the accounts were re-activated.

What sorts of things were they asking for?

Most of us are not talking about "suspended accounts" though that's what they may say when you log in. We have gotten emails that say the accounts are closed for having too many accounts assigned to the same SS#.

They usually only ask for things like a scan of your DL.
I had that happen when I opened a few accounts. ^
