Best to start over. Next time try not to be obvious in what you are doing. As I have said many times in the past best to stay under their radar and you will survive much longer. I have ALWAYS varied my sent amts and never send the the same amts each time and never the max. I often send in 2 transactions a month and both amts will add up to about $950-970. Also never sent money back and forth A-B-A. As I said in past both my brother and sister in law were shut down for that reason.
Remember the more obvious you are the more you will stand out. Do I sound too cautious , maybe but I'm still alive and kicking after several years and plan to stay that way as its only an extra 5 mins a month to do an extra transaction rather than all in on one send. But to each their own.:-:

Don't AMAZ have a max with $1000/ mt, ?so citi won't flag it but Amz might.

Thanks for the tip off.. will play it carefully.. im not worried about Amex, but I need to meet the spend requirement on Citi in the next few days.. AP is the fastest route out..

I've put $985 amazon payment charges on my citi Hilton reserve card several times this year with non problems at all and have gotten the points.

I don't think Citi really cares as long as you are paying your bill.

Will I lose my giftcard balance at amazon if my account was closed?

I have around 300$ amazon gift card in my amazon account. If amazon closes my account (because I use amazon payment to transfer in my family), will I lose 300$ gift card in my amazon account?

Thanks!

Amazon would close your AP account, not your normal Amazon.com account.

Square and Square Cash are different, just like Amazon and Amazon Payments are different.

It is always a good idea to make a number like $985.43, because during my Amex Financial review , the lady asked me how comes amazon is always 1000 or a round number.

If you're sending money to a friend, who sends 948.43? I'd always send round numbers when transferring money to family or friends.

Lots of reasons, could be a specific purchase, could just be a way to mess with them (my girlfriend frequently does this when I transfer to her account, will write me a $409.99 check if I transfer $410 to her bank account, just to mess with me), etc etc

I have a simple question I hope. If User A has many accounts A1, A2, A3 - each with different cards and bank accounts, but same SSN.

So can A1 -> B -> A2 -> C -> A3 -> D ->A1?

I have been doing A1 -> B -> A2 -> C for some time now. I want to add A3, will this be a problem or is it still OK for most folks?

Thanks!

And so discovers AMEX that amazon payments is a cash equivalent and will not be providing reward points; or worse yet set as cash advance :eek:

But you're not telling Amazon you're sending money to family or friends. You're checking the box for goods and services, right?
