If your flight arrives at a Z gate go through passport control to Pier A downstairs and go to the FCL A between the duty free shop and gate A13. Since Singapore is now a “clean” country for security purposes there is no need to clear transfer security. If your flight to Krakow leaves from a B Schengen gate (a bus gate) they will drive you to your plane from the FCL.
LH779 seems to arrive at a C gate on some days. In that case I’d go through passport control and walk to the FCT to avoid having to go through security in the main terminal.

Yes, the FCT provided both flights are on a single ticket. The FCL whether on one or separate tickets.

If you head to FCL A & they will not drive you to the plane.
If you go to FCL B they will also drive you but you must clear transit security.

Since SIN is now a "clean" country flights from SIN arrive at Z gates just like flights from the US. So you can go to the FCL B by going through passport control twice. But I don't think they'll drive you from the FCL B to a flight to Krakow, Poland which is in Schengen.

They used to drive you to the plane to a Schengen destination from the FCL A if it was leaving from a remote stand. I thought B Schengen gates were bus gates and they drove you to your plane to Krakow if it's not a LOT flight. Has it changed?

Yes, SIN is ‘clean’ arrival but if your in FCLB my understanding is car to plane unless it departs from a B gate.
FRA is so complex & ever changing, if arriving & connecting in F, FCT remains a failsafe.

@chris63, @NewbieRunner, thanks for all your inputs!
Both flights are on a single ticket, so I guess I should be able to access the FCT then. Will they be able to check this from my boarding pass? Or do I need to show them my ticket?
From what I can understand, it seems like going to the FCT is my best bet. So regardless whether my flight arrives at Pier C or Pier Z, I should just go through passport control, exit the terminal, turn left, walk past the taxi stands and to the FCT?

What's the best way to get to the FCT?

"Whether you are waiting for your flight in the Lufthansa First Class Terminal or in our First Class Lounge in Pier B, the limousine service is available to you in cooperation with our partners Austrian Airlines Group and SWISS. It applies to Lufthansa flights to non-Schengen and non-EU countries that are taking off from a non-gate position from Departure Area B or from Piers Z or C. From the First Class Lounge in Pier A, the limousine service is also available for Lufthansa flights to Schengen countries that are departing from a non-gate position. If you are waiting in the First Class Terminal at Frankfurt, a limousine will take you directly to your aircraft in any event."

As an aside when the current FCL A first opened there was a plan to drive passengers on flights to Schengen destinations departing from gates A26-42 as well as non-gate positions. They soon concluded it was too complex to operate the service for gates A26-42 departures and this part of the arrangement has been abandoned.

How often do UK flights leave from Z gates? I’m so used to B departures to EDI, I’m surprised I will have to use Z SEN lounge than B and AC lounge.

This is what LH.com says about the limousine service on departure from FRA.

I will ask them next time I’m there.
Problem with outside positions is it could change to a gate, had that a few times in B lounge & then you have to walk & line up with the mob .......

It happened to me a few times on flights to MAN and always in the evening. It’s strange to be sitting in an A321 right next to an A380.
