AA sells tickets ex KTW with feeders to FRA (or any European AA gateway) operated by LH/LX/OS/OK/4T, so this ticket will be perfectly legal and will allow the luggage to be checked thru.

On positive note - even though I have had my share of long and convoluted connections in Frankfurt and occasionally missed a connection due to a late arrival of the first segment, but the other day it worked almost perfectly.
Connecting from a delayed UA944 (ORD-FRA) arriving at gate Z22 to LH126 (FRA-STR) leaving from A22 (bus gate) took exactly 6 minutes including passport control near Z26.
Unfortunately only one of my two suitcases made it to STR with me. The second one was delivered the same afternoon (200km away).
I will not complain about Frankfurt for a while now ;-)

China Airlines TPE-FRA arrives at T2 at 6:40am. What is the process to get to a LH FRA-TXL flight in T1? How much time would you bake in? Carry on baggage only. Thanks!

lots of longhaul arriving, so immigration lines can be long.

Is SkyTrain landside after clearing immigration in T2 and then have to go through security in T1?

Skytrain operates both air & landside.

Thanks! Is passport control only in T2? For instance, upon deplaning from T2 and I see that the immigration line is long, can I take the airside Skytrain to T1, and do passport control from there?

Depends where you will arrive, if Z to A you will be ‘clean’ so no transit security, just transit immigration.
If B or C arrival at FRA it will be challenging, study the FRA map & hope for a Z gate

USA almost always arrives at Z. The one time I had an inbound at a C gate, LH offered a tarmac transfer to my next flight so no transfer security was involved. 1h00 connect from C to A (Schengen) and we made it no problem.

I'll be traveling Haneda - Stockholm via Frankfurt, in F. The Haneda flight seems to end up at C gates more often than not. I'll want to go to the FCT during my layover. What's the fastest way to get there from C? Walk? Train?
I don't mind a walk, especially efter a long-haul, but perhaps not several kilometers
Last time we got a car, but I'm guessing that was due to us having short C to A connection rather than being in F, right?

I'll be traveling Haneda - Stockholm via Frankfurt, in F. The Haneda flight seems to end up at C gates more often than not. I'll want to go to the FCT during my layover. What's the fastest way to get there from C? Walk? Train?

As far as I know there is normally no car service for F passengers arriving at C gates.

Looking at an itinerary for DME-FRA-HND in LH F with 2hrs in transit (would love more but unfortunately no availability). Will 2hrs be enough to go one of the FCLs? Or will it be barely enough to get from flight 1 to flight 2?
